The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 V4 is a 2-socket 2U rack server built on Intel Xeon 6700P and 6500P processors with up to 86 cores and 172 threads each. 32 DDR5 slots take up to 8 TB of memory, with RDIMMs at up to 6400 MHz or MRDIMMs at up to 8000 MHz, plus CXL 2.0 memory expansion.
Storage and All-PCIe 5.0 Expansion
The chassis supports up to 40 x 2.5-inch, 16 x 3.5-inch or 32 x E3.S hot-swap drives, up to 10 rear PCIe 5.0 slots plus two OCP 3.0 slots, and up to 2 double-wide or 10 single-wide GPUs, for virtualisation, databases, software-defined storage and AI inference.
XClarity Management and Neptune Liquid Cooling
Every SR650 V4 includes the Lenovo XClarity Controller 3 (XCC3) and is protected by TPM 2.0, Secure Boot and a chassis intrusion switch. Optional Lenovo Neptune open-loop liquid cooling for processors, or for processors, memory and voltage regulators, removes most of the server's heat through liquid in dense deployments.
