The Lenovo ThinkCentre M70s Gen 6 is a small form factor business desktop built on the Intel Q870 chipset with Intel vPro support, making it well suited to IT-managed environments. A 10-core Intel Core Ultra 5 225 processor is paired with 8GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 512GB performance NVMe SSD with Opal 2.0 self-encryption. Integrated Intel AI Boost delivers up to 13 TOPS for on-device AI workloads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and three years of onsite warranty is included.

Performance with on-device AI acceleration

The Intel Core Ultra 5 225 provides 10 cores (6 performance plus 4 efficient) and 10 threads with Max Turbo up to 4.9GHz and 20MB Intel Smart Cache. Integrated Intel AI Boost adds a dedicated neural processing capability rated up to 13 TOPS, which accelerates AI-assisted features such as background effects and noise suppression in conferencing software without loading the main processor. Storage is a 512GB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0x4 Performance NVMe SSD, and memory is an 8GB UDIMM DDR5-5600 module.

Expansion, display outputs and connectivity

The chassis includes a 2.5-inch HDD bracket kit so secondary storage can be added later, and an internal speaker is fitted for basic audio without external hardware. Note that no optical drive is supplied. Two DisplayPort outputs plus HDMI support multi-monitor setups, and wired LAN is provided alongside Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 (802.11ax 2x2) with Bluetooth 5.3. A USB keyboard and mouse are included.

Security and manageability

Intel vPro support gives IT teams remote management and maintenance capabilities, allowing systems to be diagnosed and serviced even when powered down or unresponsive, which is valuable across a distributed fleet. The 512GB SSD supports Opal 2.0 hardware self-encryption for data-at-rest protection. Windows 11 Pro adds BitLocker device encryption, domain join and group policy support.
