High-Capacity 4x4 Wi-Fi 6, Ready to Power On
This bundle pairs the HPE Networking Instant On AP25 with a power supply, so it can be installed where no PoE+ switch is available. The AP25 is the high-performance indoor model in HPE's Instant On range: a 4x4 Wi-Fi 6 access point with four spatial streams and a maximum data rate of 5374 Mbps across its 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11ax radios.
HPE recommends the AP25 for 100+ active devices per access point, making it the pick for busier offices, classrooms, meeting rooms and retail floors.
2.5G Uplink and 160 MHz Channels
A 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet uplink keeps the wired backhaul from becoming the bottleneck, and 160 MHz channel support on 5 GHz lets capable clients reach higher speeds.
Wi-Fi 6 Efficiency and Security
HPE lists Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6 with WPA3 security, 1024-QAM for up to 25% more data, OFDMA, Target Wake Time (TWT) to extend client battery life, and roughly 4x the capacity of 802.11ac access points.
Flexible Power
The AP25 runs from 802.3at (Class 4) PoE at 20.1 W maximum, or from 12 V DC. This bundle includes the power supply for DC operation; the AP-only SKU is R9B28A.
Supplied in Singapore with Local Warranty
HPE backs Instant On access points with a two-year warranty and 24/7 phone and chat support. SourceIT supplies them locally in Singapore with a GST invoice.

Frequently Asked Questions — HPE Instant On AP25 R9B34A
What is the difference between R9B34A and R9B28A?
Both are the same AP25 access point. R9B34A is the bundle with a power supply; R9B28A is the access point only, for sites with a PoE+ switch or injector.
Can I still power it by PoE?
Yes. It accepts 802.3at (Class 4) PoE up to 20.1 W, so the included power supply is optional where PoE+ is available.
Is it Wi-Fi 6E?
No. It is Wi-Fi 6 on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. For 6 GHz, see the AP32.
Do I need a hardware controller?
No hardware controller is needed; it is managed from the HPE Networking Instant On app or web portal.
