The EB-2155W pairs a native WXGA 1280 x 800 panel with 5,000 lumens white light output and 5,000 lumens colour light output, falling to 3,600 lumens in Eco mode. The 16:10 shape gives roughly 30 percent more usable area than a 4:3 XGA panel at the same height, which is the difference between a spreadsheet fitting on screen and being scrolled. Mounting and positioning
The EB-2000 series is built for permanent installation as much as for a trolley. The body measures 377 x 110 x 291 mm excluding feet, and Epson publishes ceiling pipe options ELPFP13 (668 – 918 mm) and ELPFP14 (918 – 1,168 mm) for dropping it below a slab. Vertical and horizontal keystone correction of ±30 degrees, automatic keystone correction and Quick Corner between them cover an off-axis mount, so the projector does not have to sit on the screen centre line in a room where services already occupy the ceiling.
What it connects to
Two HDMI inputs and two D-Sub 15-pin computer inputs cover a fixed room PC and a visiting laptop simultaneously, with a D-Sub monitor-out for a lectern display and composite video for legacy sources. Audio arrives on an RCA pair and two stereo mini jacks, with a stereo mini output to an amplifier. USB Type B supports USB Display over a single cable, and USB Type A reads a memory stick for playback with no computer connected.
Network, control and management
A wired RJ45 LAN port allows network monitoring and control from a facilities desk, and RS-232C is available for a control system. Epson's network projection and message broadcasting tools run over the same connection, which suits a campus or a multi-room office where someone needs to see lamp hours and power state without walking the floor. Wireless LAN on the EB-2155W is an optional Epson wireless unit rather than a built-in radio, so budget for it separately where cable-free presenting is required.
