Extended-Reach Gigabit over Multi-Mode Fibre
The D-Link DEM-312GT2 is a Gigabit SFP transceiver for multi-mode fibre with a 1310 nm laser and a duplex LC connector. D-Link rates it for up to 2 km on 50/125 µm fibre and 1 km on 62.5/125 µm fibre — further than the 550 m of the 850 nm DEM-311GT.
Standards-Based and Hot Pluggable
The module is SFP MSA compliant and hot pluggable, with a metal enclosure for lower EMI and a TTL signal-detect indicator.
