You can provide power and data to the Instant On AP25 through a single cable by connecting its 2.5G Ethernet uplink port to a PoE-compatible network switch or router.

Its two down-tilted omnidirectional antennas support 4 x 4 MIMO technology with a peak gain of up to 4.55 dBi over the 5 GHz band, providing fast and stable connections to devices. The wireless signal is secured by WPA2 and WPA3 authentication while a built-in firewall helps to prevent intruders and bots from accessing your network. You can set the access point on your desk or use the included clip to mount it onto a wall or ceiling. Configure the access point via the Aruba Instant On mobile app to set up guest networks, block users, and take advantage of other features.

Instant On APs can act as routers and handle Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) configuration with VLAN support. They can also act as a DHCP server, providing IP addresses to the wireless network. Assigning a static IP address on an access point allows users to use the same IP address regardless of where the access point is connected, making it easier to access its setup page for any configuration changes.
