The APC NetShelter WX 6U Low-Profile Wallmount Enclosure (AR106VI) puts six usable rack units of EIA-310 19-inch mounting on a wall, with 762 mm of mounting depth - enough for a genuine short-depth server, not just patch panels and a switch. It holds up to 113 kg of static load, and can also stand on the floor with optional casters.
The point of the low-profile design is the room it does not take: the enclosure extends less than 330 mm off the wall, so it fits a corridor, a store room or the back of an office without eating floor space. External dimensions are 648 mm high, 353 mm wide and 968 mm deep.
The 230V Variant - the Right One for Singapore
AR106VI is the 230 V build of this enclosure, with two integrated 230 V fans providing 103.83 l/s of forced ventilation. AR106V is the 120 V build of the same enclosure. On Singapore's 230 V mains the AR106VI is the correct part number; the 120 V AR106V is not.
That active ventilation matters here. A sealed steel box in an unconditioned Singapore corridor becomes an oven; a cabinet with forced ventilation and a MERV 5 / G3 dust filter keeps air moving through the equipment instead of letting it stagnate. Fans move ambient air; they cannot cool below room temperature, so consider the room as well as the cabinet.
Lockable Steel Doors, Removable Side Panels, Proper Cable Entry
Front and rear doors are lockable steel with single-point locking and are reversible, so the cabinet can open the way the room allows. Side panels are included. Two cable entry knockouts, 70 mm and 28 mm, come with brush strip panels, so cabling enters tidily and the ventilation path is not defeated by an open hole.
The enclosure ships fully assembled with 24 M6 cage nuts and mounting screws, so installation is a mounting job rather than a build.

Compatibility & Fit
What fits inside. Six usable rack units of EIA-310 19-inch mounting, 762 mm of mounting depth and a 113 kg static load rating. That is enough for a short-depth 1U or 2U server, a switch stack, a firewall, a patch panel and a 1U or 2U rack-mount UPS.
Check depth, not just U height. Measure the deepest item you plan to fit, add cabling allowance at the rear, and compare the total against the 762 mm mounting depth before ordering. Depth, not U count, is what usually decides whether a wallmount enclosure works.
Which voltage variant to order. AR106VI is the 230 V build, with two integrated 230 V fans - the correct part for Singapore's 230 V, 50 Hz supply. AR106V is the 120 V North American build of the same enclosure. Ordering the wrong one leaves you with fans that will not run correctly on local mains.
Wall and floor mounting. Designed to hang on a wall and project less than 330 mm from it. It can also be used standing, with optional casters. At 36.29 kg empty plus up to 113 kg of equipment, wall fixing must be into structure rated for the combined load - confirm the wall construction before installation.
Rack power to go with it. A 1U rack PDU is the natural companion for a 6U enclosure. In the SourceIT catalogue the Easy Rack PDU Basic 1U (EPDU1010B-SCH) gives six SCHUKO and one C13 outlet from a C14 inlet at 10 A, and the AP9559 Rack PDU Basic 1U gives ten C13 and two C19 outlets at 16 A. Remember each consumes 1U of your six.
Monitoring. An enclosure on a wall in an unconditioned space is exactly where temperature and humidity monitoring earns its keep - see the AP9335TH sensor with an AP9641 card in the rack UPS, or a NetBotz Rack Monitor 250 if you also want door access control.
Not a power product. The AR106VI is a passive steel enclosure. The 230 V in its name refers to the supply for its two integrated fans - it has no power distribution, no metering and no input rating of its own. Power distribution comes from a rack PDU installed inside it.

What does the "VI" in AR106VI mean, and how does it differ from AR106V?
It is the voltage build. AR106VI is the 230 V version, with two integrated 230 V fans - the correct part for Singapore. AR106V is the same enclosure with 120 V fans for the North American market. Schneider's own product names carry the distinction: "230V Server Depth" versus "120V Server Depth". If a supplier offers you an AR106V for a Singapore site, the fans are the problem.
Does the enclosure have a power rating or built-in power distribution?
No. It is a passive steel enclosure. The 230 V in the product name refers only to the supply for its two integrated ventilation fans. Power distribution to your equipment comes from a rack PDU fitted inside - for a 6U cabinet the EPDU1010B-SCH or AP9559 1U units are the usual choices.
