Yealink WF50 Dual Band Wi-Fi USB Dongle
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Yealink WF50 Dual Band Wi-Fi USB Dongle (WF50 / 1300061) - 2 Years Local Warranty
Dual-Band 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz Wi-Fi for Yealink IP Phones
The Yealink WF50 is a dual-band Wi-Fi USB dongle that connects supported Yealink SIP phones to your wireless network on either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band. Where the crowded 2.4 GHz spectrum in dense Singapore office towers causes drops and jitter, the WF50's 5 GHz support keeps voice traffic on the cleaner band. SourceIT supplies the WF50 from local stock with a GST invoice — the go-to Wi-Fi upgrade for Yealink desk phone deployments without Ethernet drops.
802.11ac Speeds up to 433 Mbps on 5 GHz
Compliant with IEEE 802.11a/n/ac on 5 GHz and IEEE 802.11b/g/n on 2.4 GHz, the WF50 reaches up to 433 Mbps (dynamic, 11ac) on the 5 GHz band and up to 150 Mbps (dynamic, 11n) on 2.4 GHz — nearly three times the peak rate of the single-band WF40.
Enterprise-Grade Security including WPA2-Enterprise
The WF50 supports WEP, WPA/WPA2, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK and — unlike the WF40 — WPA2-Enterprise, so phones can join 802.1X-secured corporate WLANs commonly deployed in Singapore enterprises.
Wide Compatibility Across T2, T4 and T5 Series (Firmware V84+)
Per the official Yealink datasheet, the WF50 supports the SIP-T27G, T41S, T42S, T46S, T48S, T42U, T43U, T46U, T48U, T52S, T54S and T53, with firmware version 84 required. That includes current in-stock models like the SIP-T43U, SIP-T46U and SIP-T48U.
Plug-and-Play, Cable-Free Deployment
Insert the WF50 into the phone's USB 2.0 port, pick your SSID from the phone's Wi-Fi menu, and the desk is online — no drivers, no configuration software. It draws just 5.0 V DC from the USB port and measures 52 x 27 x 8 mm.

Frequently Asked Questions — Yealink WF50
Which Yealink phones work with the WF50?
The official datasheet lists the SIP-T27G, T41S, T42S, T46S, T48S, T42U, T43U, T46U, T48U, T52S, T54S and T53 — running firmware version 84 or later. Update the phone's firmware first if the dongle is not detected.
WF50 vs WF40 — what is the difference?
The WF50 is dual-band (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) with 802.11ac at up to 433 Mbps and adds WPA2-Enterprise security. The WF40 is 2.4 GHz only (802.11b/g/n, up to 150 Mbps). Also note the WF40's supported list includes the older SIP-T29G/T46G/T48G, which are not on the WF50's list — for those G-series models, choose the WF40.
Can the WF50 connect to a 5 GHz office network?
Yes. The WF50 supports IEEE 802.11a/n/ac on the 5 GHz band at up to 433 Mbps (dynamic), which helps avoid the 2.4 GHz congestion common in dense Singapore office buildings.
Do the Yealink T53W, T54W or T57W need a WF50?
No. The SIP-T53W, SIP-T54W and SIP-T57W already have built-in dual-band 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) plus built-in Bluetooth, so no dongle is required.
Do Yealink W-series DECT phones use the WF50?
No. W-series DECT bases are not in the WF50's supported model list — the dongle is designed for the listed SIP desk phones only.
Does the WF50 come with a local warranty?
Yes. Every WF50 sold by SourceIT comes with 2 years local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
