The NETGEAR GS116 (hardware version GS116v3) is a 16-port Gigabit Ethernet unmanaged switch. Every port runs at 10/100/1000 Mbps and no software or configuration is required — connect PCs, printers, NAS, IP phones and access points and it just works.
Non-Blocking Performance with Traffic Prioritisation
NETGEAR rates the GS116 at 32 Gbps of switching bandwidth with latency under 3.2 µs at Gigabit speed, an 8K MAC address table, a 512 KB packet buffer and jumbo frames up to 9K. IEEE 802.1p and DSCP class-of-service support helps prioritise voice and video traffic.
Silent, Fanless Metal Case
The fanless design (0 dBA) runs silently in offices, classrooms and homes. The sturdy metal case sits on a desk or mounts on a wall using the supplied wall-mount kit, and IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet keeps power draw to a maximum of 8.1 W.
