48 Gigabit Ports, Plug-and-Play
The NETGEAR GS348 is a 48-port Gigabit Ethernet unmanaged switch from NETGEAR's Essentials range. Every port is 10/100/1000 Mbps with Auto Uplink, so it works straight out of the box with no configuration — connect PCs, printers, NAS, IP phones and access points and it just runs.
Non-Blocking Performance
NETGEAR rates the GS348 at 96 Gbps of non-blocking switching bandwidth and a forwarding rate of 1,448,000 pps (64-byte packets at 1000 Mbps), with a 1.5 MB packet buffer and jumbo-frame support for large file transfers.
Silent, Fanless and Rack-Ready
The fanless design runs silently in offices and classrooms. The switch sits on a desk or mounts in a 19-inch rack using the rack-mount kit included in the box, and draws a maximum of 23 W.
