The NETGEAR GS305 is a 5-port Gigabit Ethernet unmanaged switch from NETGEAR's Essentials range. There is no software to install and nothing to configure — plug in PCs, printers, consoles, NAS or access points and every port auto-negotiates at up to 1000 Mbps.
Non-Blocking and Energy-Efficient
NETGEAR rates the GS305 at 10 Gbps of non-blocking bandwidth, with 802.1p QoS prioritisation, jumbo frames up to 9,216 bytes and IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet to cut power use, drawing just 2.15 W maximum.
Silent, Compact Metal Case
The fanless design runs at 0 dBA, and the compact metal housing sits on a desk or mounts on a wall — ideal for home offices, meeting rooms and reception desks.
