Lenovo ThinkVision E27-40 27-inch FHD Monitor
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Lenovo ThinkVision E27-40 (64BCMAR4MY) - 3 Years Local Warranty
27 Inches of Full HD, at 300 Nits and 1500:1
The ThinkVision E27-40 is the large-format member of the E-40 family: a 27-inch Full HD IPS panel at 100 Hz, brighter than its smaller siblings at 300 cd/m² and with higher 1500:1 contrast. Where desk space allows a bigger screen and the priority is comfortable, large text rather than more pixels, this is the model.
Big Text, Which Is Sometimes Exactly the Point
At 27 inches, 1920 x 1080 works out to 82 dpi — noticeably larger text and interface elements than the same resolution at 23.8". For reception desks, shop-floor terminals, dashboards read from a distance, and users who find small type tiring, that is a feature. For dense spreadsheet or code work, the QHD E27Q-40 is the better fit.
The Same Full-Function Stand and Three Video Inputs
155 mm of height adjustment, 360° swivel, portrait pivot and tilt, plus HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 and VGA and 2 W x 2 speakers. The specification does not thin out as the panel grows — you get the full E-40 feature set at 27 inches.
EPEAT Gold and TCO Generation 10 at 16.3 W Typical
A 27-inch panel at 16.3 W typical is a modest load for the size. It carries ENERGY STAR, EPEAT Gold, TCO Certified generation 10 and TCO Edge 2.1 — note the EU energy label is D-class here against C-class on the smaller models, which is simply the effect of lighting a larger panel.
Specification note. Every figure on this page is taken from Lenovo's PSREF specification sheet for the ThinkVision E27-40. Lenovo publishes monitor specifications per model; part numbers carry a regional suffix (WW, MY and others) which governs market, packaging and supplied mains cord rather than panel or port specification, though Lenovo does not publish an explicit statement to that effect — so if the exact in-box contents or plug type matter to you, ask us to confirm before ordering. Where Lenovo publishes no figure for a specification, this page says so rather than estimating one. Specifications and prices are subject to change by Lenovo without notice.

Compatibility & Fit
Choose this for size, not for pixel count. At 27 inches and Full HD the pixel density is 82 dpi, which makes text and interface elements comfortably large. That suits reception counters, shop-floor and warehouse terminals, dashboards viewed from a step back, and any user who finds small text tiring. It is not the right choice for dense spreadsheet, CAD or code work — for that at this size, the QHD E27Q-40 puts 78% more pixels on the same panel.
Brightness headroom: at 300 cd/m² and 1500:1, this is brighter and higher-contrast than the 23.8" and 21.5" models in the range, which helps in a bright open-plan floor or a room with unshaded windows.
Connectivity and mounting: HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 and VGA, with no USB or USB-C. VESA 100 x 100 mm. At 4.0 kg for the head, check your monitor arm's rating before mounting — some lighter arms are rated below this.

Frequently Asked Questions — Lenovo ThinkVision E27-40
Is Full HD sharp enough at 27 inches?
It is comfortable rather than sharp — 82 dpi gives large, easy-to-read text. If you want more content on screen instead of bigger text, choose the QHD E27Q-40.
How is it brighter than the smaller models?
300 cd/m² against 250 on the E22-40 and E24-40, and 1500:1 contrast against 1300:1. Useful in brightly lit spaces.
Does it have USB-C?
No. Video inputs only — HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA. For USB-C docking see the P24h-30.
Will it fit a standard monitor arm?
VESA 100 x 100 mm, yes — but the head weighs 4.0 kg, so check the arm's rated capacity, particularly on lighter single arms.
Does it rotate to portrait?
Yes, -90° to +90°, plus 155 mm height adjustment and 360° swivel.
Why is its EU energy label D when the smaller models are C?
Because a larger panel needs more backlight for the same brightness. Its actual consumption, 16.3 W typical, is still modest for a 27-inch display.
What warranty does it carry?
Lenovo publishes a 3-year limited warranty in PSREF. Every unit we supply carries local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice. An earlier version of this listing said 1 year, which understated Lenovo's term.
