The ThinkVision P24h-30 is not simply a better panel than the E-series — it is a different class of product. Its USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and up to 100 W Power Delivery carries video, data and laptop charging down a single cable. A user arrives, plugs in one connector, and has display, network, peripherals and power.
Gigabit Ethernet With MAPT, PXE and Wake-on-LAN
The built-in RJ-45 gigabit ethernet supports MAC address pass-through, PXE boot and Wake-on-LAN. Those three acronyms are why IT departments specify this monitor: a docked laptop can be imaged, woken and identified on the network exactly as a desktop would be, without a separate dock.
Four USB Ports, DisplayPort Out for Daisy Chaining, and Delta E Under 2
A 4-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub (one with BC 1.2 fast charge) handles keyboard, mouse, headset and storage. A DisplayPort out daisy-chains a second QHD monitor from the same cable. And the panel is factory calibrated to an average Delta E under 2 with HDR10 support — a genuine colour claim the E-series does not make.
One Honest Caveat: 60 Hz
This panel runs at 60 Hz, where the cheaper E-series models here run at 100 Hz. If smooth scrolling matters more to you than docking, ethernet and colour accuracy, the E-series is the better buy. If a single-cable desk and fleet manageability matter more, this is the model — and it is worth knowing the trade-off before ordering rather than after.

Compatibility & Fit
Buy this for the dock, not the panel. The picture specification is good — QHD, 99% sRGB, Delta E under 2, HDR10 — but what justifies the price over an E24q-30 is the connectivity: USB-C with 100 W charging, gigabit ethernet with MAPT, PXE and Wake-on-LAN, a four-port USB hub and DisplayPort out for daisy chaining. On a hot-desking floor it replaces a separate dock entirely.
Check your laptop's USB-C port before ordering. Single-cable operation needs a laptop whose USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery — true of ThinkPads and most current business laptops, but not universal, particularly on budget machines. Also confirm your laptop's charging requirement: this delivers up to 100 W, which covers most 14" and 16" business laptops but may not fully power a high-wattage mobile workstation under load.
Two corrections to earlier copy on this page. Brightness is 300 nits, not 350 — 350 was overstated. And this monitor has no built-in speakers; the earlier listing did not say so. Lenovo offers the MS30 Monitor Soundbar separately if audio is needed.
The 60 Hz question: stated plainly because a buyer comparing on paper will spot it — the cheaper E-series models here run 100 Hz while this runs 60 Hz. That is a real trade-off in favour of docking, ethernet and colour accuracy.
Availability note: this is the -30 generation and Lenovo has since launched P24Q-40 and P24QD-40 at this size. Those are not confirmed drop-in replacements — we have not verified that either carries the USB-C 100 W docking and RJ45 that define this model. Ask us to confirm current availability before a fleet order.
