Lenovo ThinkVision E22-40 21.5-inch FHD Monitor
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Lenovo ThinkVision E22-40 (64C9MAR6MY) - 3 Years Local Warranty
100 Hz IPS in a 21.5-inch Business Monitor
The ThinkVision E22-40 pairs a 21.5-inch Full HD IPS panel with a 100 Hz refresh rate — a specification that until recently belonged to consumer displays. On scrolling documents, spreadsheets and web applications the difference over the usual 60 Hz office panel is immediately visible, and it costs nothing extra in power or desk space.
99% sRGB and 178° Viewing Angles
The IPS panel covers 99% of sRGB with 178°/178° viewing angles, so colour holds when a colleague reviews work over your shoulder. Contrast is 1300:1 typical — better than the 1000:1 usual at this price — and the 3-side NearEdgeless design keeps side and top bezels to 2.0 mm for tidy dual-monitor pairs.
A Full-Function Stand, Not a Tilt Hinge
This is the specification that separates the E-40 generation from cheaper office monitors: 155 mm of height adjustment, 360° swivel, -90° to +90° pivot and -5° to +22° tilt, with integrated cable management. It can be set correctly for the person using it, and turned to portrait for reading long documents or code.
Speakers Built In, Three Video Inputs, EPEAT Gold
Integrated 2 W x 2 speakers cover calls and notifications without a separate device. Video connects over HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 or VGA, so it drops onto current docks and legacy estates alike. It is ENERGY STAR certified, EPEAT Gold registered and TCO Certified generation 10.
Specification note. Every figure on this page is taken from Lenovo's PSREF specification sheet for the ThinkVision E22-40. Lenovo publishes monitor specifications per model; part numbers carry a regional suffix (WW, MY and others) which governs market, packaging and supplied mains cord rather than panel or port specification, though Lenovo does not publish an explicit statement to that effect — so if the exact in-box contents or plug type matter to you, ask us to confirm before ordering. Where Lenovo publishes no figure for a specification, this page says so rather than estimating one. Specifications and prices are subject to change by Lenovo without notice.

Compatibility & Fit
Where the E22-40 fits. It is the entry point into the current E-40 generation — IPS, 100 Hz, full-function stand, speakers — at the smallest size Lenovo offers with those features. For a standard office desk, most buyers will be happier at 23.8" with the E24-40, which is the same specification in a larger panel. Choose the 21.5" where desk depth is genuinely tight or where a dual-monitor pair has to fit a narrow bench.
Connectivity is the one limit to check. There are three video inputs but no USB ports and no USB-C. If you want the monitor to act as a dock for a laptop — one cable for video, data and charging — that is the P24h-30, not this. Only the HDMI cable is in the box, so order a DisplayPort cable separately if that is your intended connection.
Mounting and ergonomics: VESA 100 x 100 mm for arms and wall mounts, and a stand with 155 mm of lift, full swivel and portrait pivot. For hot-desking floors the height adjustment is the feature that matters — it is what lets successive users set the screen correctly without tools.
Package Contents & ThinkVision Ordering Information

Frequently Asked Questions — Lenovo ThinkVision E22-40
Is the 100 Hz refresh rate useful in an office?
Yes, though not dramatically. Scrolling through documents, spreadsheets and web applications looks noticeably smoother than on a 60 Hz panel. It costs nothing extra here, so there is no reason to avoid it.
Does it have USB ports or USB-C?
No. Video inputs only — HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 and VGA. For a monitor that also docks a laptop over USB-C, see the P24h-30.
Which cables come with it?
An HDMI cable and a power cable, both 1.8 m. A DisplayPort or VGA cable is not included — order one if that is your connection.
Can it rotate to portrait?
Yes, -90° to +90° pivot, along with 155 mm of height adjustment and 360° swivel.
Does it have speakers?
Yes, 2 W x 2 integrated. Note Lenovo does not publish a headphone output for this model.
How does it compare with the E24-40?
Same panel technology, refresh rate, stand and connectivity — the E24-40 is simply 23.8" instead of 21.5". Choose on desk space.
What warranty does it carry?
Lenovo publishes a 3-year limited warranty in PSREF. Every unit we supply carries local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice. An earlier version of this listing said 1 year, which understated Lenovo's own term.
