The CareFit Combo Arm with Worksurface adds a writing surface to Ergotron's clinical wall arm, so a caregiver can position a 27″ display, type, and still have somewhere to put a chart, a tablet or a specimen tray. With 20″ (51 cm) of lift and reach of up to 57.8″ (146 cm), the whole station comes to the patient.

There is no desk-clamp or grommet option, so desk thickness is not a consideration — but the wall construction must carry the assembly, which weighs 38.9–47.3 lbs (17.6–21.5 kg) depending on configuration. Confirm the wall type before installation, especially on drywall or lightweight partitions.
Reach is the CareFit Combo's headline advantage: up to 57.8″ (146 cm) from the wall as standard, and up to 65.3″ (165.7 cm) with the CareFit Combo Extender (98-547-251), which adds 18.5″ (47.1 cm). Folded away it sits 10″–13″ (25.5–33 cm) from the wall. Ultrawide and strongly curved panels sit outside the published 27″ / 22 lbs envelope and are not recommended.
