Epson EB-X06 Compact Projector
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Epson EB-X06 XGA 3LCD Compact Projector (V11H972052) - 3 Years Singapore Local Warranty
3,600 Lumens of 3LCD Brightness for Meeting Rooms and Classrooms You Cannot Darken
Most Singapore meeting rooms and classrooms have full-height glazing and lighting that nobody is going to switch off for a slide deck. The EB-X06 answers that with 3,600 lumens of white light output and 3,600 lumens of colour light output — Epson quotes the same figure for both, so colour stays as bright as the whites rather than washing out. Epson's 3LCD engine passes red, green and blue through three separate panels simultaneously, which removes the colour-wheel flicker some single-chip projectors show on fast motion. With a 16,000:1 contrast ratio, dark chart backgrounds and photography still hold detail in an unshaded room.
XGA Native Resolution Tuned to Spreadsheets, Slides and Document Cameras
The EB-X06 projects at a native 1024 x 768 XGA resolution in a 4:3 aspect ratio, using 0.55-inch LCD panels. That is the format most classroom document cameras, visualisers and older corporate slide templates were built around, so a 4:3 deck fills the screen edge to edge instead of sitting inside letterbox bars. Text on a spreadsheet, a circuit diagram or an annotated PDF renders cleanly at typical classroom viewing distances. The projector reproduces up to 1.07 billion colours, which keeps corporate brand palettes and photographic teaching material looking as intended rather than posterised.
30 to 300 Inches with a 1.2x Manual Zoom for Awkward Rooms
A throw ratio of 1.48 – 1.77:1 and a 1.2x manual zoom give real placement latitude, so the EB-X06 can be trolley-mounted at the back of a training room or ceiling-rigged in a fixed classroom without forcing a new mounting position. Image sizes run from 30 inches up to 300 inches. Automatic vertical keystone correction of ±30° and manual horizontal correction of ±30° square the picture up when the projector cannot sit on the screen's centre line — useful in serviced offices and shophouse units where the only power point is off to one side.
Up to 12,000 Hours of Eco-Mode Lamp Life and a Low Cost of Ownership
The EB-X06 uses a 210 W UHE lamp rated at 6,000 hours in normal mode and up to 12,000 hours in economy mode. For a school or training provider running a projector several hours a day, that pushes the first lamp change years out and keeps the total cost of ownership predictable. Economy mode also drops fan noise from 37 dB(A) to 28 dB(A), which matters in a quiet tutorial room. At 2.5 kg and 302 x 237 x 82 mm, one person can move it between rooms, and a built-in 2 W speaker covers voice playback when no room audio is available.

Compatibility & Installation
Mounting and placement
The EB-X06 is a standard-throw projector designed for table, trolley or ceiling mounting. With a 1.48 – 1.77:1 throw ratio and a 1.2x manual zoom, a 100-inch 4:3 image sits within a practical distance band for most Singapore classrooms and meeting rooms. Automatic vertical keystone correction of ±30° and manual horizontal correction of ±30° allow off-centre placement. Ceiling installation uses a standard Epson projector mount, inverted via the projector's own menu setting.
What it connects to
One HDMI input takes a laptop, a room PC, a video bar output, a Blu-ray player or a media box. One VGA input keeps older lectern PCs, document cameras and legacy switchers in service. A USB Type-A port handles USB display and slideshow playback from a thumb drive, and USB Type-B connects the projector to a computer for USB display and control. A cinch audio output feeds a room amplifier or powered speakers when the 2 W internal speaker is not enough.
Network and wireless
Wireless operation is via Epson's optional wireless LAN adapter rather than built-in Wi-Fi, so budget for that accessory if you intend to present from phones and tablets or manage the unit over the network. For fixed installations where the source is cabled to a lectern or wall plate, no adapter is required.

Frequently Asked Questions — Epson EB-X06
Is the EB-X06 bright enough for a room we cannot darken?
Yes for normal office and classroom lighting. Epson rates it at 3,600 lumens white light output and 3,600 lumens colour light output, so colours stay saturated rather than fading as brightness rises. Direct sunlight on the screen will still wash out any projector, so pull the blinds on the screen wall if you have them.
What does XGA mean and will my widescreen laptop look wrong?
XGA is 1024 x 768 in a 4:3 shape. A 16:9 laptop image will be scaled to fit with thin bars above and below. If most of your content is widescreen video or 16:9 slides, the WXGA EB-W06 or the Full HD EB-FH52 will fill the screen better.
How far back does it need to sit?
The throw ratio is 1.48 – 1.77:1 with a 1.2x manual zoom, so a 100-inch wide-format image needs roughly three metres of throw depending on where you set the zoom. We can send the exact throw table for your screen size on request.
Does it have Wi-Fi built in?
No. Wireless presentation requires Epson's optional wireless LAN adapter. Cabled HDMI and VGA sources work out of the box.
How long does the lamp last and is it replaceable?
Epson rates the 210 W UHE lamp at 6,000 hours in normal mode and up to 12,000 hours in economy mode. It is a user-replaceable lamp; SourceIT can quote the correct replacement part alongside the projector.
Is the built-in speaker usable for a training room?
The internal speaker is 2 W, which is adequate for voice narration in a small room. For video with music or a room of more than a dozen people, feed the cinch audio output to powered speakers or the room amplifier.
Can it be ceiling mounted?
Yes. It supports inverted ceiling mounting from the projector menu and fits standard Epson ceiling mounts. Automatic vertical and manual horizontal keystone correction of ±30° handle off-axis positions.
What warranty and invoicing do I get from SourceIT?
Every unit is sold with local Singapore warranty support and a GST invoice issued by SourceIT, so it goes straight into your company's claims and asset records.
