The EB-W06 produces 3,700 lumens of colour light output and 3,700 lumens of white light output from a chassis weighing just 2.5 kg. Epson's 3LCD, three-chip design is what makes those two figures equal, so a slide deck's brand colours look the same on screen as they do on the laptop rather than shifting towards grey. For a small meeting room, a training room, a classroom or a sales team that carries a projector between offices, that is enough brightness to work with the lights on and the blinds half open.
WXGA 1280 x 800 Widescreen for Slides and Video
Native resolution is WXGA, 1280 x 800 pixels in a 16:10 aspect ratio, matching the shape of most business laptop screens and presentation templates. Slides fill the screen without letterboxing, and 16:9 video scales cleanly. A 16,000:1 contrast ratio keeps dark slides and video readable in a dimmed room. The 0.59-inch 3LCD panel drives screens from 33 to 320 inches, so the same projector suits a four-person huddle room and a 40-seat training room without any change of lens.
Set Up in Seconds with Auto Keystone and Slide Correction
Automatic vertical keystone correction squares the image the moment the projector is placed on a table, and a horizontal slide correction bar on the top panel straightens the remaining skew by hand without going into a menu. Both axes cover minus 30 to plus 30 degrees. Plugging in an HDMI, USB or VGA cable powers the projector on automatically, and instant off means it can be unplugged straight after the meeting with no cool-down wait. For rooms with no permanent AV support, that removes most of the setup friction.
HDMI, VGA, Composite and Optional Wireless Presentation
One HDMI input, one D-Sub 15-pin computer input, one composite video input and stereo RCA audio inputs cover everything from a current laptop to an older DVD player or document camera still in service. Compatibility & Installation
Mounting and placement
The EB-W06 is designed primarily for table-top use, with automatic vertical keystone correction and a horizontal slide correction bar on the top panel so it can be set down at an angle and squared up in seconds. Both correction axes cover minus 30 to plus 30 degrees. Ceiling mounting is also possible with a suitable bracket. At 237 x 302 x 82 mm including feet and 2.5 kg, it fits in a laptop bag compartment and sits comfortably on a small trolley or lectern shelf.
What it connects to
One HDMI input handles current laptops, streaming sticks and media players. One D-Sub 15-pin computer input keeps older notebooks, lectern PCs and document cameras working, and a composite RCA video input with stereo RCA audio inputs covers legacy sources such as DVD players and older cameras. A USB 2.0 Type B port supports display over USB from a PC, which avoids carrying a video cable at all when the source is a Windows laptop. Audio plays through the 2W internal speaker.
Network, control and content management
Wireless presentation requires the optional Epson ELPAP11 wireless LAN module, which fits the USB 2.0 Type A port behind a lockable cover. With the module fitted, Epson iProjection allows multi-PC projection from laptops, tablets and phones, and Epson Projector Management provides network monitoring and control. Is the EB-W06 a Full HD projector?
No. Its native resolution is WXGA, 1280 x 800 pixels in 16:10. It accepts Full HD sources and scales them, but the panel itself is WXGA. If you need a native 1920 x 1080 image, look at Epson's Full HD models instead.
How bright is it, really?
3,700 lumens of colour light output and 3,700 lumens of white light output. Epson measures colour light output to IDMS 15.4 and white light output to ISO 21118, so the two are directly comparable — unlike single-chip designs where colour brightness can be much lower than the headline white figure.
How long does the lamp last and can it be replaced?
The 210 W UHE lamp is rated at 6,000 hours in Normal mode and 12,000 hours in Eco mode, and it is a user-replaceable consumable. SourceIT can supply replacement lamps.
Does it have built-in Wi-Fi?
No. Wireless presentation requires the optional Epson ELPAP11 wireless LAN module, which fits the USB Type A port behind a screw-secured cover. If built-in wireless is a requirement, the EB-W55 has it as standard.
Will it connect to an older VGA laptop or a DVD player?

The EB-W51 is brighter at 4,000 lumens against 3,700 lumens and has a higher lamp-on power draw. Both are WXGA 3LCD models with 16,000:1 contrast, the same 1.2x zoom and the same 1.30 to 1.56 throw ratio.
What warranty and paperwork do I get?
