Epson EB-W51 WXGA 3LCD Projector
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Epson EB-W51 WXGA 3LCD Projector (V11H977052) - 3 Years Singapore Local Warranty
4,000 Lumens of Colour and White Brightness for Everyday Rooms
The EB-W51 produces 4,000 lumens of colour light output and 4,000 lumens of white light output. Epson's 3LCD three-chip design is why those two numbers match: brand colours, charts and photographs stay saturated rather than dulling towards grey the way they can on a single-chip projector. In a classroom, a training room or a meeting room with ceiling lighting and windows, 4,000 lumens is enough to keep a 100-inch screen readable without drawing the blinds. Contrast is rated at 16,000:1 for dimmed-room video.
WXGA Widescreen at 1280 x 800 with a 2.5 kg Chassis
Native resolution is WXGA, 1280 x 800 pixels in a 16:10 aspect ratio, which matches most business laptop screens and PowerPoint templates so slides fill the frame without letterboxing. The projector weighs approximately 2.5 kg and measures 302 x 77 x 234 mm excluding feet, so it moves easily between rooms or sites and still fits a permanent ceiling bracket. Screens from 33 to 320 inches are supported, covering everything from a small huddle room to a good-sized training room with one fixed lens.
Quick Corner and Auto Keystone for Fast Table Setup
Automatic vertical keystone correction squares the image as soon as the projector is placed, and Quick Corner lets you drag each corner of the image independently to fit a screen that is not perfectly square to the projector. Keystone correction covers plus or minus 30 degrees vertically and horizontally. Start-up takes up to 6 seconds to the logo with a 30-second warm-up, shutdown is instant off, and direct power on and off means the unit can be switched at the wall. In rooms without AV support, that keeps meetings starting on time.
HDMI, VGA and Composite Inputs with Optional Wireless
One HDMI input, one D-Sub 15-pin computer input, one composite RCA video input and stereo RCA audio inputs cover current laptops and the older sources still in service in many Singapore schools and offices. A USB Type B port handles firmware updates and copying on-screen display settings between units, useful when commissioning several rooms at once. The USB Type A port takes the optional Epson ELPAP11 wireless LAN module for cable-free presentation from laptops, tablets and phones.

Compatibility & Installation
Mounting and placement
The EB-W51 is built for table-top use first, with automatic vertical keystone correction and Quick Corner geometry adjustment so it can be placed anywhere sensible and squared up in seconds. Keystone correction covers plus or minus 30 degrees in both axes. Ceiling mounting is also practical with a suitable bracket: the chassis is 302 x 77 x 234 mm excluding feet and weighs approximately 2.5 kg. With a throw ratio of 1.30 to 1.56, a 100-inch image needs roughly 2.8 to 3.4 metres of distance.
What it connects to
One HDMI input handles current laptops, room PCs, media players and streaming sticks. One D-Sub 15-pin computer input keeps older notebooks, lectern PCs and document cameras working, and a composite RCA video input with stereo RCA audio inputs covers legacy sources such as DVD players. A USB Type B port is used for firmware updates and for copying on-screen display settings from one projector to another, which saves time when commissioning a row of identical classrooms.
Network, control and content management
Wireless presentation requires the optional Epson ELPAP11 wireless LAN module, which fits the USB Type A port. With it fitted the projector supports wireless connection from laptops and mobile devices. There is no wired LAN port on this model, so if you need network monitoring over Ethernet across a fleet, consider the EB-W55 or one of Epson's installation models instead.
Accessories
The Epson ELPAP11 wireless LAN module is the usual addition. SourceIT can also quote replacement lamps, air filters, ceiling mounts and carry cases alongside the projector.

Frequently Asked Questions — Epson EB-W51
Is the EB-W51 Full HD?
No. Its native resolution is WXGA, 1280 x 800 in 16:10. It accepts Full HD sources and scales them to fit, but the panel itself is WXGA. For a native 1920 x 1080 image, look at Epson's Full HD models.
How bright is it in a lit classroom?
4,000 lumens of colour light output and 4,000 lumens of white light output. Because Epson's 3LCD engine measures the two equally, colour content stays vivid under ceiling lighting rather than dimming the way it can on single-chip designs.
How long does the lamp last?
The 210 W lamp is rated at 6,000 hours in Normal mode and 12,000 hours in Eco mode. The high-efficiency air filter shares the same 6,000 and 12,000 hour maintenance cycle. Both are user-replaceable consumables that SourceIT can supply.
Does it have Wi-Fi built in?
No. Wireless presentation requires the optional Epson ELPAP11 module in the USB Type A port. If you want wireless as standard, the EB-W55 has built-in wireless LAN.
Does it have a network port for remote monitoring?
No wired LAN port is published for this model. If Ethernet monitoring across a fleet is a requirement, look at Epson's installation range instead.
What is Quick Corner and why does it matter?
Quick Corner lets you drag each of the four image corners independently, which fixes geometry that simple keystone correction cannot — for example when the projector is both off-centre and off-axis relative to the screen.
How big an image will it project?
33 to 320 inches. At the wide end of the 1.2x zoom that is a throw distance of 0.91 to 9.07 metres, and at the tele end 1.10 to 10.89 metres.
What warranty and paperwork do I get?
Every unit sold by SourceIT carries local Singapore warranty and ships with a GST invoice. Three years local warranty applies to this model.
