Sine Wave Line-Interactive Protection in 2U of Rack Space
The Eaton 5SC 5SC3000IRT is a 3000 VA / 2700 W line-interactive rack/tower UPS that delivers a clean sine wave output on battery. The 5SC3000IRT is sized for a small to medium server rack: several rack servers, storage and network switching. It suits Singapore offices, clinics, retail back-rooms and server racks where short outages, sags and surges would otherwise interrupt work or corrupt data.
Automatic Voltage Regulation
Automatic Voltage Regulation corrects routine voltage deviations without switching to battery, across an input window of 184–276 V, keeping the internal batteries (6 x 12 V / 9 Ah) in reserve for genuine outages. Advanced Battery Management (ABM) charging is user selectable to extend battery life.
0.9 Power Factor, Rack or Tower, Hot-Swappable Batteries
With a 0.9 output power factor the 5SC3000IRT delivers 2700 W of real power from 3000 VA, the largest model in the 5SC range. It installs in 2U of a 19-inch rack (rack kit included) or stands as a tower, and its batteries are hot swappable.
Communication Slot for Network Management
Besides USB and RS232 ports, the 5SC3000IRT has one slot for an optional communication card, plus remote On/Off and Remote Power Off connectors and dry contacts. It integrates with Eaton Intelligent Power Manager and is compatible with virtualised environments.
Supplied Locally with GST Invoice and 3-Year Warranty

What It Is Suited To
The 5SC3000IRT is sized for a small to medium server rack: several rack servers, storage and network switching. The watt rating (2700 W) is the limit: total the continuous watts of everything you plan to connect and leave headroom.
Operating Systems and Software
The USB port is HID compliant, so Windows, macOS and Linux recognise the UPS as a power source without extra drivers. Compatible software: Eaton Intelligent Power Manager, Eaton Intelligent Power Protector. The communication slot accepts an optional Eaton network management card for SNMP/web monitoring and network shutdown.
Outlets
8 x IEC C13 and 1 x IEC C19 outlets with an IEC C20 input. Equipment with a BS 1363 (Type G) plug needs an IEC C14 lead or an IEC-input power strip; ask us if you need one quoted.
