Sine Wave Line-Interactive Protection for Servers and Workstations
The Eaton 5SC 5SC500i is a 500 VA / 350 W line-interactive tower UPS that delivers a clean sine wave output on battery. It is built for a desktop PC and monitor, a router and switch, or a small NAS in Singapore offices, clinics, retail back-rooms and server corners, where short outages, sags and surges would otherwise interrupt work or corrupt data.
AVR and Advanced Battery Management
Automatic Voltage Regulation corrects routine voltage deviations without switching to battery, across an input window of 184–276 V. Eaton's ABM charging technology (or constant voltage charging) helps look after the battery, and the battery is user replaceable when it eventually needs changing.
LCD Display, USB and Serial for Automatic Shutdown
An LCD display shows UPS status at a glance. The HID-compliant USB port and RS232 serial port work with Eaton Intelligent Power Protector for automatic, orderly shutdown of connected systems. 4 IEC C13 outlets suit standard IEC power leads used by servers, PCs, monitors and network equipment.
Supplied Locally with GST Invoice and 3-Year Warranty

What It Is Suited To
This 500 VA model suits a desktop PC and monitor, a router and switch, or a small NAS. The watt rating (350 W) is the limit: total the continuous watts of everything you plan to connect and leave headroom.
Operating Systems and Software
The USB port is HID compliant, so Windows, macOS and Linux recognise the UPS as a power source without extra drivers. Eaton Intelligent Power Protector adds automatic shutdown and monitoring. There is no network card slot on the 5SC.
Outlets
4 x IEC C13 outlets with an IEC C14 input. Equipment with a BS 1363 (Type G) plug needs an IEC C14 lead or an IEC-input power strip; ask us if you need one quoted.
