Sine Wave Line-Interactive Protection in 2U of Rack Space
The Eaton 5SC 5SC1000IR is a 1000 VA / 700 W line-interactive rack-mount UPS that delivers a clean sine wave output on battery. The 5SC1000iR suits a small rack: an entry-level rack server, a NAS and network switching. It suits Singapore offices, clinics, retail back-rooms and server racks where short outages, sags and surges would otherwise interrupt work or corrupt data.
Automatic Voltage Regulation
Automatic Voltage Regulation corrects routine voltage deviations without switching to battery, across an input window of 184–276 V, keeping the internal batteries (2 x 12 V / 9 Ah) in reserve for genuine outages. Advanced Battery Management (ABM) charging is user selectable to extend battery life.
2U Rack Unit with a Communication Slot
The 5SC1000iR fits 2U of a 19-inch rack (rack kit included) and has one slot for an optional communication card for network monitoring and shutdown, alongside USB and RS232 ports and an LCD display.
Supplied Locally with GST Invoice and 3-Year Warranty

What It Is Suited To
The 5SC1000iR suits a small rack: an entry-level rack server, a NAS and network switching. The watt rating (700 W) is the limit: total the continuous watts of everything you plan to connect and leave headroom.
Operating Systems and Software
The USB port is HID compliant, so Windows, macOS and Linux recognise the UPS as a power source without extra drivers. Compatible software: Eaton Intelligent Power Manager, Eaton Intelligent Power Protector. The communication slot accepts an optional Eaton network management card for SNMP/web monitoring and network shutdown.
Outlets
8 x IEC C13 outlets with an IEC C14 input. Equipment with a BS 1363 (Type G) plug needs an IEC C14 lead or an IEC-input power strip; ask us if you need one quoted.
