Sine Wave Line-Interactive Protection for Servers and Workstations
The Eaton 5SC 5SC1500I is a 1500 VA / 1050 W line-interactive tower UPS that delivers a clean sine wave output on battery. The 5SC1500i suits an entry-level tower server, a NAS with network switch, or several workstations. It suits Singapore offices, clinics, retail back-rooms and server racks where short outages, sags and surges would otherwise interrupt work or corrupt data.
Automatic Voltage Regulation
Automatic Voltage Regulation corrects routine voltage deviations without switching to battery, across an input window of 184–276 V, keeping the internal batteries (3 x 12 V / 9 Ah) in reserve for genuine outages. Advanced Battery Management (ABM) charging is user selectable to extend battery life.
LCD Display, USB and Serial for Automatic Shutdown
An LCD display shows UPS status and measurements at a glance. The HID-compliant USB port and RS232 serial port work with Eaton Intelligent Power Protector for automatic, orderly shutdown. 8 IEC C13 outlets suit the IEC leads used by servers, PCs, monitors and network equipment.
Supplied Locally with GST Invoice and 3-Year Warranty

What It Is Suited To
The 5SC1500i suits an entry-level tower server, a NAS with network switch, or several workstations. The watt rating (1050 W) is the limit: total the continuous watts of everything you plan to connect and leave headroom.
Operating Systems and Software
The USB port is HID compliant, so Windows, macOS and Linux recognise the UPS as a power source without extra drivers. Compatible software: Eaton Intelligent Power Protector. There is no network card slot on this model.
Outlets
8 x IEC C13 outlets with an IEC C14 input. Equipment with a BS 1363 (Type G) plug needs an IEC C14 lead or an IEC-input power strip; ask us if you need one quoted.

Yes. Eaton specifies a sine wave output on battery, which suits servers and computers with active-PFC power supplies.

Eaton publishes 13 min at half load and 5 min at full load (1050 W). Runtime varies with load, battery age and temperature, and this model does not take external battery modules.
Can it shut down my server automatically?

Does it support SNMP or a network card?
