The Eaton 5P Gen2 5P850IG2 is an 850 VA / 680 W line-interactive UPS with pure sine-wave output, in a compact tower for server closets, office network corners and edge IT in Singapore. It rides through outages, sags and surges and gives servers, switches, firewalls and storage clean power while they shut down safely or wait for the mains to return.
Automatic Voltage Regulation and High Efficiency
Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) corrects low and high input voltage without using the battery. Eaton specifies an input window of 160–294 V (adjustable down to 150 V) and efficiency of 98% at maximum load, which keeps heat and running costs down in small, closed rooms.
Graphical LCD, Network-Ready and Remote Control
A multilingual graphical LCD with blue backlight gives local status and settings. USB (HID) and RS232 ports are standard, one slot accepts an optional Eaton network card, and remote On/Off, remote power-off and dry contacts allow integration with building and IT systems. The 5P Gen2 fully integrates with the Eaton Brightlayer software suite and is compatible with virtual environments.
Advanced Battery Management
Eaton's ABM+ charging extends battery service life, automatic battery tests check battery health, and batteries are user-replaceable. Eaton quotes 13 min runtime at half load and 4.5 min at full load.

Monitoring and Shutdown Software
The HID-compliant USB port lets most operating systems see the UPS as a power source without extra drivers. For graceful shutdown, virtual-environment integration and fleet monitoring, Eaton points to its Brightlayer software suite. Add an optional Eaton network card in the expansion slot for SNMP/web monitoring.
Outlets
Outputs are 6 x IEC C13. Input is an IEC C14 inlet; two IEC-IEC cables are included. Equipment with BS 1363 (Type G) plugs needs IEC leads or an IEC-input PDU.
