Extra Runtime for the 2 and 3 kVA Easy UPS On-Line Rack Models
The APC Easy UPS On-Line SRV72RLBP-9A is the 72 V external battery pack for the 2 kVA and 3 kVA rackmount extended-runtime models in the Easy UPS On-Line SRV range. Schneider's own page for the current SRV2KRILRK-E kit reads “Add up to 4 external battery packs (SRV72RLBP-9A) for extended runtime”, and the same pack serves the SRV3KRILRK-E, the earlier SRV2KRILRK and SRV3KRILRK, and the SRVPM2KRIL-E / SRVPM3KRIL-E power modules they are built on.
Those extended-runtime kits ship with one pack. This listing is the pack on its own — for a second, third or fourth pack when the hold-up time has to grow, or as the documented replacement when an installed pack reaches the end of its service life.
Why a Separate Pack Rather Than a Bigger UPS
A 2–3 kVA rack UPS with internal batteries is sized for a few minutes of graceful shutdown. Where a Singapore site needs the network to stay up through a longer building-power interruption — a branch with a leased line and phones, a clinic, a small server room without a generator — the economical answer is to keep the same UPS and add stored energy. The SRV72RLBP-9A runs on the 72 V DC bus of the 2–3 kVA extended-runtime models, holds six sealed lead-acid blocks in a string, and up to four packs can be chained to one UPS.
2U, 632 mm Deep, 42.5 kg
The pack occupies 2U and measures 86 x 438 x 632 mm, so like the 4U extended-runtime kits it fits a server-depth cabinet rather than a shallow 600 mm comms cabinet. It weighs 42.5 kg — a two-person lift — and the carton includes the rack mounting brackets and the battery cable. For sliding support rails the matching kit is the SRVRK1, rated for 60 kg and up to 780 mm depth, which is the rail kit pictured on Schneider's page for this pack.
Supplied Locally, with GST Invoice and Singapore Warranty

Which UPS Takes This Pack
Schneider names this pack for the 2 kVA and 3 kVA rack extended-runtime models. The current kits are the SRV2KRILRK-E and SRV3KRILRK-E, which ship with one pack each and accept up to four; the earlier SRV2KRILRK and SRV3KRILRK and the bare SRVPM2KRIL-E / SRVPM3KRIL-E power modules use the same pack. The tower extended-runtime models (SRVPM2KIL + SRV72BP-9A, SRVPM3KIL + SRV72BP-9A) use the tower-format SRV72BP-9A instead, and the 1 kVA rack model uses the 36 V SRV36RLBP-9A.
It does not fit the standard-runtime rack models. The SRV1KRIRK-E, SRV2KRIRK-E and SRV3KRIRK-E (and the earlier SRV1KRI, SRV2KRI and SRV3KRI) have internal batteries and no external battery connector; Schneider's product names for them do not list battery pack support. Nor does it fit the lithium-ion SRVL range, which uses the SRVL48RMBP2U.
How Many Packs, and What Runtime
Up to four packs connect to one UPS, chained through the supplied battery cables. Schneider does not print a per-pack runtime on the product page, so we do not publish a table; send us the load in watts and the hold-up time you need and we will size it against Schneider's runtime data. Recharge takes longer as packs are added, so plan recovery time between outages as well as hold-up time.
Rack Fit
Each pack adds 2U, 632 mm of depth and 42.5 kg. A 700 mm or deeper cabinet is the realistic minimum. The SRVRK1 rail kit (60 kg rating, up to 780 mm) is the matching sliding-rail option; the rack mounting brackets are already in the carton.
