Yealink RT20U DECT Repeater — Fill DECT Dead Zones Without Cabling
The Yealink RT20U is a DECT repeater that extends the wireless range of compatible Yealink single-cell DECT base stations — filling coverage gaps across corridors, storerooms and adjacent rooms so handsets stay connected everywhere staff work. Each repeater relays the base signal for up to 50 m indoors (up to 300 m outdoors in clear, ideal conditions).
Seamless Roaming with Automatic Handover
The RT20U supports 2 simultaneous calls per repeater with automatic handover between base and repeater cells, so active calls carry on without interruption as users walk through the building. Speech is carried at 32 kbit/s (G.726) over the standard DECT GAP protocol.
Star Deployment of Up to 5 Repeaters
Up to 5 RT20U repeaters can be deployed around one base station in a star layout, letting a compact single-cell DECT system cover shops, clinics, F&B outlets and small warehouses in Singapore without pulling a single network cable.
Slim, Plug-and-Play, Wall-Mountable
Auto-association makes setup quick, three LEDs (Power, DECT Link, Active Relay) show status at a glance, and the slim 12 mm housing mounts discreetly on a wall wherever coverage needs a boost.

Compatibility & Software Support
Base stations (per Yealink datasheet): Yealink W52P (firmware v25.73.0.40 or later), W56P (v25.80.0.15 or later) and W60P (v77.81.0.10 or later). The RT20U follows the DECT GAP standard.
Handsets: Works transparently with the W-series handsets registered to the base (e.g. W56H) — handsets roam between base and repeater cells with automatic handover.
Deployment note: For current W70B-based systems (W73P/W79P), choose the newer RT30 repeater instead. For very large sites, consider a multi-cell system such as the W80B.
