Poly Studio P15 — 4K Personal Video Bar for Desks and Home Offices
The Poly Studio P15 puts a 4K camera, a speaker with a passive radiator and a three-element beamforming microphone array into one 425 mm bar that clamps onto a monitor. It is certified for Microsoft Teams, certified for Zoom and certified to work with Chromebook, and it connects over a single USB 3.0 Type-C cable. For an executive desk or a serious home office in Singapore, it replaces a webcam, a headset and a desk speaker with one device.
4K Camera with Auto-Framing and a 90° Field of View
The camera supports Ultra HD 4K 16:9 (2160p), Full HD 1080p and HD 720p at 30 fps across a 90° diagonal field of view — wide enough for one or two people at a desk without the distortion of a room-scale lens. Electronic zoom runs to 4x, with manual pan, tilt and zoom available through the Poly Lens Desktop App, plus true colour and low-light compensation and an integrated privacy shutter. Note that USB 3.0 is required for 4K video.
Three-Microphone Beamforming Array with NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence
A three-element beamforming microphone array covering 50 Hz to 14 kHz picks up your voice and leaves the rest of the room behind. Poly NoiseBlockAI suppresses background noise, Poly Acoustic Fence with beam shaping keeps household and open-plan sound out of the call, and Poly Acoustic Clarity provides full-duplex operation with echo cancellation and noise suppression. The integrated speaker with passive radiator covers 100 Hz to 20 kHz at up to 84 dBSPL.
One Cable, Any Platform, Managed from Poly Lens Desktop
A single USB 3.0 Type-C connection carries camera, speaker and microphone to a Windows, macOS or Chrome OS machine, and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports on the bar handle a wireless headset adapter or a dongle. Because the P15 is a standards-based USB device it also works with any application that supports UVC. Settings, framing and firmware are managed through the Poly Lens Desktop App and the Poly Lens cloud service.

What is the difference between the Poly Studio P15 and the Studio P5 webcam?
The Studio P5 is a 1080p webcam with a single microphone and no speaker. The P15 is a full personal video bar: a 4K camera, an integrated speaker with passive radiator, a three-element beamforming microphone array, and NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence processing. The P5 upgrades your picture; the P15 replaces your picture, your speaker and your microphone.
Does the Poly Studio P15 need a separate power supply?
Yes. Unlike a bus-powered webcam the P15 uses an external 12 V / 3 A DC power supply, which is included in the box alongside the monitor clamp and the USB-C cable.
Do I need a room PC, licence or compute appliance?
No. The P15 is a personal device that plugs into the computer you already use — it has no built-in compute and needs no room licence. It is intended for a desk, not a meeting room. For a small meeting room look at the Poly Studio R30 or the Poly Studio V12.
Does the Studio P15 really shoot in 4K?
Yes — HP specifies Ultra HD 4K 16:9 (2160p) at 30 fps, along with 1080p and 720p. One caveat: the host connection must be USB 3.0 for 4K video. On a USB 2.0 port the bar still works but not at 4K.
Is the zoom optical?
No. The P15 uses electronic (digital) zoom up to 4x, with manual pan, tilt and zoom available through the Poly Lens Desktop App. HP does not specify any optical zoom for this model.
Can I mount the Studio P15 on a tripod?
Yes. The supplied monitor clamp is removable and the bar is tripod-ready, so it can sit on a monitor, a shelf or a tripod as the desk requires.
Is the Poly Studio P15 still available in Singapore?
HP’s Singapore Poly personal-video page no longer lists the P series — its current Singapore USB range is the Studio V12, V52, V72 and R30. HP has not published an end-of-life announcement for the P15, and SourceIT continues to supply it with local Singapore warranty while stock lasts.
