Poly Edge E350 Open SIP Desk Phone with Built-In Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0
The Poly Edge E350 is the only phone in HP's Edge E300 Series with Wi-Fi, and that is the reason to buy it. HP specifies operation on both the 2.4–2.4835 GHz and 5.15–5.825 GHz bands, alongside integrated Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC, on the same 3.5-inch colour IPS LCD and 8 line keys supporting up to 32 SIP lines as the rest of the series. For a Singapore fit-out where the desk position has no structured-cabling drop — a retrofitted heritage shopfront, a leased suite, a temporary project floor — it removes the cabling works from the project entirely.
Enterprise Wi-Fi Security, Not Just a Wireless Radio
HP publishes the full Wi-Fi security set for the Edge E350: WEP, WPA-Personal, WPA2-Personal and WPA2-Enterprise with 802.1X using EAP-TLS or PEAP-MSCHAPv2. That means the phone joins a corporate SSID under the same certificate or credential policy as the laptops, rather than needing a separate open or pre-shared-key network. The model also carries the RF approvals the non-Wi-Fi models do not: FCC Part 15.247 and 15.407, ETSI EN 300 328 and EN 301 893, and NZ Telepermit.
Bluetooth 5.0 Headsets, Microban Surfaces and ENERGY STAR
Integrated Bluetooth 5.0 pairs a wireless headset or mobile phone with fast pairing on selected Poly headsets, and USB, RJ-9 and Electronic Hook Switch options are documented alongside it. HP supplies the console, handset and handset cord with Microban antimicrobial protection, and the model is ENERGY STAR certified — both useful in shared-desk and shift environments.
Poly Acoustic Fence, NoiseBlockAI and HD Voice on a Wireless Desk Phone
Going wireless does not cost audio quality. The E350 carries Poly HD Voice, Poly Acoustic Clarity full-duplex speakerphone operation with acoustic echo cancellation, Poly Acoustic Fence and Poly NoiseBlockAI, with the full codec set including G.722 HD Voice and OPUS. Note that where the phone runs on Wi-Fi rather than a PoE drop, an optional external power supply is required and is ordered separately.

The Poly Edge E350 is an Open SIP desk phone. It registers against hosted and on-premise SIP platforms — 3CX, Asterisk and FreePBX derivatives, BroadWorks and Metaswitch-based hosted services, and the SIP trunking services offered by Singapore carriers.
HP publishes no Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet certification for any model in the Edge E range, and we do not claim one. Where a Microsoft Teams certified desk phone is the requirement, the Poly CCX Teams Edition models are the correct line — see the CCX 350 for Microsoft Teams.

Frequently Asked Questions — Poly Edge E350
Is the Poly Edge E350 the only Edge E300 Series phone with Wi-Fi?
Yes. Within the E300 Series, HP publishes Wi-Fi on the E350 only — the Edge E300 has NFC alone and the Edge E320 has Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. Across the whole Edge E range Wi-Fi appears on three models: the E350, the Edge E450 and the Edge E550.
Which Wi-Fi bands and standards does it support?
HP's specification lists 2.4–2.4835 GHz (802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n HT-20) and 5.15–5.825 GHz (802.11a, 802.11n HT-20 and HT-40). Note that HP's marketing copy elsewhere refers to 802.11ac; HP's own published band table for this model lists 802.11a/b/g/n, so that is what we state here. Security options are WEP, WPA-Personal, WPA2-Personal and WPA2-Enterprise with 802.1X.
If I run the E350 over Wi-Fi, how is it powered?
Power over Ethernet obviously cannot supply a phone that is not on Ethernet. HP specifies IEEE 802.3af Class 3 PoE at 13 W maximum for wired operation; for a Wi-Fi-only position an optional external power supply (100–240 V input, 5.0 V / 3.0 A output) is required and is ordered separately. This is the item most often missed on Wi-Fi desk-phone orders — tell us the deployment mode and we will include it in the quotation.
How does the E350 differ from the E320 apart from Wi-Fi?
In practical terms, it does not. Display, resolution, line keys, line capacity, audio processing, codecs, Ethernet, PoE class, USB, Bluetooth version, Microban treatment and ENERGY STAR status are the same on both. You are buying the radio and the RF approvals that come with it.
Can I add an expansion module?
No. HP documents expansion-module support only on the Edge E400 Series and Edge E500 Series. For busy-lamp-field keys at a reception or operator position, specify the Edge E450 (one module, and also Wi-Fi equipped) or the Edge E550 (two modules, also Wi-Fi equipped).
What is in the box?
HP lists a setup sheet, console, handset and handset cord — all with Microban antimicrobial protection — a CAT-5E network cable and a desk stand. No power supply and no wall mount are included; a wall mount bracket covering the E300, E320 and E350 is available separately.
Is the Edge E350 certified for Microsoft Teams or Zoom?
