Lenovo ThinkVision E20-30 19.5-inch HD+ Monitor
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Lenovo ThinkVision E20-30 (62F7KAR4MY) - 3 Years Local Warranty
A 19.5-inch Secondary Screen for Desks Where Space Is the Constraint
The ThinkVision E20-30 is a compact 19.5-inch business display running 1600 x 900 at 60 Hz. It is not a primary workhorse monitor and is not sold as one — it earns its place as a second screen beside a laptop, at a reception counter, on a POS station or anywhere a full-size panel will not fit.
Read the Panel Specification Before You Buy
Two things are worth stating plainly rather than glossing. The panel is TN, not IPS, with viewing angles of 170° horizontal and 160° vertical — fine head-on, but colour and contrast shift when viewed from the side. And the resolution is HD+ (1600 x 900), not Full HD. For a shared screen that colleagues lean over, the IPS models further up this range are the better fit.
Genuinely Frugal: 12 W Typical, EPEAT Silver, TCO Certified 9.0
At 12 W typical and 15 W maximum with an internal power supply, the E20-30 is one of the lightest loads in the ThinkVision line. It is ENERGY STAR certified, EPEAT Silver registered and TCO Certified 9.0 — which matters when a tender asks for environmental credentials on every line item, not just the laptops.
HDMI and VGA, With the HDMI Cable in the Box
Video connects over HDMI 1.4 or VGA. The VGA input is the reason this model persists in fleets: it will drive from legacy thin clients and older docks that newer displays have dropped support for. Note there are no USB ports, no DisplayPort, no speakers and no headphone output — this is a display, and nothing else.
Specification note. Every figure on this page is taken from Lenovo's PSREF specification sheet for the ThinkVision E20-30. Lenovo publishes monitor specifications per model; part numbers carry a regional suffix (WW, MY and others) which governs market, packaging and supplied mains cord rather than panel or port specification, though Lenovo does not publish an explicit statement to that effect — so if the exact in-box contents or plug type matter to you, ask us to confirm before ordering. Where Lenovo publishes no figure for a specification, this page says so rather than estimating one. Specifications and prices are subject to change by Lenovo without notice.

Compatibility & Fit
What this monitor is for. A 19.5-inch 1600 x 900 TN panel is a secondary or utility display: a second screen beside a laptop, a counter-top display, a POS or kiosk screen, or a monitor for an application that only needs a window. For a primary workstation display, step up to the E22-40 or E24-40, which are IPS, Full HD and 100 Hz for very little more.
The VGA input is the reason to choose it. Alongside HDMI 1.4, the E20-30 keeps a VGA port, which newer ThinkVision models have largely dropped. If you are refreshing screens on estates that still run older thin clients, KVMs or docks with VGA output, that port decides the purchase.
Mounting: VESA 100 x 100 mm, so it fits standard monitor arms and wall mounts. Note the stand itself is tilt-only — Lenovo publishes no height, swivel or pivot adjustment — so if you need ergonomic positioning, budget for an arm or choose a full-function-stand model.
Availability note: this is the older E-series generation. Its PSREF sheet was last refreshed in April 2025 and Lenovo's direct-sale pages for this part number now redirect to a category page, which usually signals a model being run down. We can confirm current availability with the distributor before you commit to a fleet quantity.

Frequently Asked Questions — Lenovo ThinkVision E20-30
Is this a Full HD monitor?
No. The E20-30 is 1600 x 900 (HD+). If you need 1920 x 1080, the E22-40 at 21.5" is the nearest Full HD model.
Is the panel IPS?
No — it is a TN panel with 170°/160° viewing angles. Colour and contrast shift when viewed off-axis. Every other monitor in this batch is IPS at 178°/178°.
Does it have speakers or USB ports?
Neither. Lenovo publishes no USB ports, no audio output and no speakers for this model. Video inputs are HDMI 1.4 and VGA only.
Can I use it with an older thin client or KVM?
That is its strongest case — it retains a VGA input that newer ThinkVision models have dropped.
Can I put it on a monitor arm?
Yes, VESA 100 x 100 mm. Worth considering, because the supplied stand only tilts (-5° to +22°) with no height adjustment.
How much power does it draw?
12 W typical, 15 W maximum, from an internal supply. It is ENERGY STAR certified, EPEAT Silver and TCO Certified 9.0.
What warranty does it carry?
Lenovo publishes a 3-year limited warranty for this monitor in PSREF. Every unit we supply also carries local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice. Note that an earlier version of this listing stated 1 year — that was understated against Lenovo's own published term.
