Lenovo ThinkSmart Core for Logitech Certified for Zoom
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Device for Logitech (11RXS00A0R) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Lenovo Compute Half of a Logitech Meeting Room
This is Lenovo's ThinkSmart Core appliance sold into Logitech's channel, to be paired with Logitech room hardware — a Tap controller, a Rally or MeetUp camera and audio system. It is a small, quiet, VESA-mountable Windows IoT appliance with vPro management, built to sit behind a display and run a room without a tower PC in the cupboard.
There Is No Camera, No Microphone and No Speaker in This Box
We are putting this second because it is the thing most likely to catch someone out. Lenovo's PSREF sheet says "No camera", "No microphone" and "No speakers", and lists bundled accessories as "None". No Logitech hardware ships with it either. If you need a kit that includes the camera and the audio, the ThinkSmart One bars in the ordering table have both built in.
Purpose-Built Room Hardware, Not a Repurposed Desktop
16 GB of soldered memory and a 256 GB NVMe drive on an 11th Generation Core i5-1145G7E — an embedded-class processor with a long production life, which is what you want in a device that has to boot the same way every morning for five years. Thunderbolt 4 and five USB ports for peripherals, two HDMI outputs for the room's screens, gigabit Ethernet, discrete TPM 2.0, a Kensington slot and Intel vPro with AMT 15 for remote management. TÜV Rheinland Ultra Low Noise certified, at 1.1 kg.
Three Years of Premier Support
Lenovo publishes 3-year Premier Support as the service level for this machine type — a step above standard onsite: a single point of contact, direct access to advanced technicians, and end-to-end case management. On a device that a room full of people depends on at nine o'clock on a Monday, that is the part of the specification that earns its keep.
Specification note. Lenovo publishes ThinkSmart specifications at family level in PSREF rather than per part number, and for several items in this range Lenovo's PSREF sheet and its own marketing datasheet give different figures. Where that happens this page shows the disagreement rather than picking the more flattering number, and where Lenovo publishes nothing at all it says so instead of estimating. Certification claims are checked against Microsoft's and Zoom's own certified-hardware listings, not just Lenovo's wording. A room system is an installation rather than a purchase: tell us the room and we will confirm the exact configuration with Lenovo before anything is ordered. Specifications and prices are subject to change by Lenovo without notice.

Platform & Certification
| Preloaded Platform | PSREF publishes Zoom Rooms as the preload for this machine type — one configuration, one operating system |
| Microsoft Teams Rooms | Not substantiated. We found no Lenovo document confirming a Teams Rooms preload on any part number in this family, and this product does not appear on Microsoft's Teams Rooms certified-hardware list. See the compatibility section |
| Difference Between the Three Part Numbers | Not published by Lenovo. PSREF publishes a single configuration for the whole machine type, with no models table |
| Is the Platform Licence Included? | Not published by Lenovo. Lenovo's datasheets say the platform is "preloaded" or the device is "certified", which describes the software image and the testing programme rather than the subscription entitlement. Budget for the platform licence separately unless we confirm otherwise for your order |
Compatibility & Fit
What the "for Logitech" in the name actually means
It means this Lenovo compute unit is sold into Logitech's channel to be paired with Logitech room peripherals — a Tap controller, a Rally or MeetUp camera and audio system. The Logitech hardware is not in this box. Logitech, not Lenovo, assembles and sells the bundles that combine the two. Lenovo's PSREF bundled-accessories field for this machine type reads "None".
So the honest description is: this is the Lenovo compute half of a Logitech room. If you already have the Logitech peripherals, or you are buying them separately, this is the right part. If you expected a complete room in one carton, it is not — and we would rather say so now.
Read this first: what is not in this box
This is a compute unit. Lenovo's own PSREF specification states, in three separate fields, "No camera", "No microphone" and "No speakers", and its bundled-accessories field reads "None". Nothing but the compute unit and its power adapter ships in the carton.
That is the product doing its job, not a fault — it exists to be the brain of a room whose camera and audio come from somewhere else. But it means this box on its own cannot hold a meeting. If you want a kit that includes the camera and the audio, the ThinkSmart One bars in the ordering table have both built in, and the ThinkSmart Core Full Room Kits include a separate camera and soundbar. Tell us what is already installed in the room and we will tell you honestly which one you need.
A platform question we cannot answer from Lenovo's documents
Lenovo's PSREF sheet for this entire machine type publishes exactly one software configuration, and the preloaded platform it names is Zoom Rooms. We could find no Lenovo document confirming a Microsoft Teams Rooms preload on any part number in this family, and "ThinkSmart Core for Logitech" does not appear on Microsoft's own Teams Rooms certified-hardware list.
If you are buying this specifically to run Microsoft Teams Rooms, ask us to confirm the preload and the certification in writing from Lenovo before you order. We are not going to assert a certification we cannot substantiate, and a room system that arrives with the wrong platform image is an expensive afternoon.
What you still need to supply. The display or displays and their mounting, the power and network drops, and the platform licence. You will also need the camera, the audio and the room controller, which this product does not include. A room system is an installation rather than a box — tell us the room and we will put a complete bill of materials together with you.
Package Contents & ThinkSmart Ordering Information
In the box, per Lenovo PSREF:
- ThinkSmart Core Device compute unit
- 90 W power adapter
Not included: camera, microphone, speakers, controller, display, mounting, any Logitech hardware, and the platform licence. Lenovo's PSREF bundled-accessories field for this machine type reads "None"; a VESA mount kit is listed as an option rather than as box contents. If the exact carton contents decide your purchase, ask us and we will confirm them with Lenovo first.

Datasheet & Downloads

- Microsoft — Teams Rooms certified hardware list
- Zoom — Zoom Spaces certified hardware
PSREF is Lenovo's own Product Specifications Reference and is the source for every figure on this page unless the table says otherwise. PSREF publishes per model rather than per part number, so this SKU does not appear inside the PDF itself. Where a Lenovo datasheet and PSREF disagree, both are listed above and the page shows the conflict.
Frequently Asked Questions — Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Device for Logitech
Does this include a camera, a microphone or Logitech hardware?
No, none of the three. Lenovo's PSREF specification states "No camera", "No microphone" and "No speakers", and its bundled-accessories field reads "None". This is the Lenovo compute unit only. Logitech sells the bundles that pair it with Tap, Rally or MeetUp hardware. If you want a Lenovo kit with the camera and audio included, look at the ThinkSmart One bars in the ordering table above and we will quote one.
Is it certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms?
We cannot confirm that from published sources, and we will not claim it. The only preloaded platform Lenovo publishes for this machine type is Zoom Rooms, and this product does not appear on Microsoft's Teams Rooms certified-hardware list. If you need it for Teams, ask us and we will get a written answer from Lenovo before you order.
What is the difference between the three part numbers you list?
Lenovo does not publish one. PSREF gives a single configuration for the entire machine type — same processor, same 16 GB, same 256 GB drive, same operating system — with no per-part-number table. The difference is most likely channel or packaging rather than hardware. Ask us before ordering if it matters and we will have Lenovo confirm it.
Is the platform licence included?
Lenovo does not publish an answer. Its datasheets say the platform is "preloaded" or that the device is "certified", which describes the software image and the testing programme rather than the subscription entitlement. What Lenovo does state as included on some datasheets is its own software and services — ThinkSmart Manager Premium for the first year, and Premier Support. Budget for the Microsoft or Zoom platform licence separately, and ask us: we will confirm it for your order before you commit.
What room size is this for?
Lenovo publishes no room-size statement for this product at all — and that is the honest answer, because room sizing here depends entirely on the Logitech camera and audio you pair it with, not on the compute box. Send us the room's dimensions and what audio-visual hardware is going in and we will size the room properly.
What do I still need to buy?
A camera, a microphone and speaker system, a room controller, the display and its mounting, the power and network drops, and the platform licence. In practice that means the Logitech room hardware this device is built to pair with. We will quote the whole room rather than the box.
What warranty applies in Singapore?
Lenovo publishes 3-year Premier Support service for this product. Every unit SourceIT sells also carries local Singapore warranty support and a GST invoice.
