Compute, Camera, Microphones and Speakers in a Single Bar
The ThinkSmart One puts the whole room system inside one 700 mm bar: an 11th Generation Core i5 with vPro, a camera with a 125° diagonal field of view and a privacy shutter, eight microphones covering 180° to a 6 metre pickup range, and 15 W + 15 W stereo speakers. It mounts above or below the screen and runs Zoom Rooms. Add the display and you have a room.
The Camera Does the Work of a Camera Operator
Auto-zoom and auto-framing keep the group in shot as people join and leave, speaker tracking follows whoever is talking, and Lenovo publishes people counting and whiteboard awareness as well — so the room can report its own occupancy and the whiteboard stays legible to people at home. A physical privacy shutter closes the lens when the room is not in use.
The IP Controller Runs on Network Cable, Up to 100 Metres
This kit ships with Lenovo's IP Controller: a 10.1-inch touch panel at 360 nits connected over CAT5e Ethernet with Power over Ethernet, installable up to 100 metres from the bar. A Link Box carrying power, gigabit Ethernet, HDMI out and USB-B is included, and the controller has an HDMI input of its own. It can be wall mounted, though Lenovo states wall mount kits are sold separately. It needs a PoE network drop at the controller position — confirm that before ordering.
Two Network Ports, and Management That Scales
The bar has two gigabit Ethernet ports, one with vPro, plus Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.0 — so the room can sit on a separate management network without a second box. Firmware TPM 2.0, a Kensington MiniSaver, integrated cable management and vPro Enterprise round it out. Lenovo publishes 3-year limited onsite service as the base warranty, and its datasheets list ThinkSmart Manager Premium for the first year.

Compatibility & Fit
This one does include the camera and the audio
Worth stating plainly, because several other products in the ThinkSmart range do not. The ThinkSmart One is a collaboration bar with the compute, the camera, eight microphones and stereo speakers all inside it. You are not buying a compute box that needs a camera bolted on.
What the kit does not include is a display. The bar drives up to two external monitors over HDMI and you supply them, along with the mounting and the platform licence.
One or One Pro? An honest gap in the documentation
Lenovo's own support record for this exact part number reads "ThinkSmart One/One Pro" — the machine type covers both products, and Lenovo does not publish which one a given part number is. That matters because Microsoft's and Zoom's certified-hardware listings currently name only the One Pro kits; plain "ThinkSmart One + Controller" does not appear on either list.
We are telling you this rather than quietly writing "Pro" on the page. If certification compliance is part of your procurement, ask us to confirm in writing with Lenovo which variant this SKU is before you order. We will get you the answer; we will not guess at it.
Room sizing, in Lenovo's words rather than ours
Lenovo's ThinkSmart One datasheets describe it as "ideal for small and medium spaces" and "certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms for small to medium rooms". Lenovo publishes no participant counts and no room dimensions, so we will not invent any. The one hard number it does give is the microphone 6 metre pickup range. Note that Lenovo's current web page uses "small and huddle rooms" — but that page describes the One Pro, not the One. Send us the room's dimensions and table layout and we will size it properly.
What you still need to supply. The display or displays and their mounting, the power and network drops, and the platform licence. A PoE-capable network drop at the controller position is essential for this kit, and the wall mount kit is sold separately. A room system is an installation rather than a box — tell us the room and we will put a complete bill of materials together with you.

The ThinkSmart One is a collaboration bar with the camera, eight microphones and stereo speakers built in. If you are fitting out a room from nothing, this is the kind of product you want.
What is the difference between the Controller and the IP Controller?
The same 10.1-inch touch panel, connected differently. The ThinkSmart Controller connects over USB-C, with a 10 metre cable included. How much memory does it have?

Can I run Microsoft Teams Rooms on it instead?
Not as supplied. Lenovo builds the Teams and Zoom versions as separate machine types with separate factory software images — different part numbers, not a setting. The Teams version of this kit is in the ordering table above; order the platform your organisation actually runs.

Lenovo does not publish an answer. Its datasheets say the platform is "preloaded" or that the device is "certified", which describes the software image and the testing programme rather than the subscription entitlement.
