A3 Production ADF Plus A3 Flatbed
The Ricoh fi-7700S combines a 300-sheet A3 production feeder with an A3 flatbed in one unit. The ADF scans simplex at 75 pages per minute (A4 landscape, 200/300 dpi) and the scanner is rated by Ricoh for an expected daily volume of 33,000 sheets. The fi-7700S is the single-sided (simplex) model; the fi-7700 scans both sides in one pass.
Books, Bound Files and Fragile Originals
The flatbed takes originals up to 304.8 x 457.2 mm (12 x 18 in) with no paper weight limit, so bound books and delicate documents can be scanned without going through the feeder. A Cover-Open Cropping function lets you scan thick items with the lid open.
Flexible ADF Position
The ADF can slide to the left or right and rotate 180 degrees to suit your workspace, and LCD operation panels show scan settings, sheet counts and error status. Independent side guides help align documents of different sizes.
Safe, Reliable Feeding
The feeder handles paper from 20 to 413 g/m², plastic cards up to 1.4 mm and long pages up to 5,588 mm. Ultrasonic overlap detection, length detection and Intelligent Sonic Paper Protection (iSOP) help prevent missed pages and damaged originals, and PaperStream IP cleans up images to support OCR accuracy.

Does the fi-7700S scan both sides?
No. The fi-7700S is the simplex (single-sided) model. If you need both sides in one pass, choose the fi-7700, which is duplex.
