150 ppm Throughput for Centralised Scanning
The Ricoh fi-8950 is an A3 production scanner from the fi-8000 series. It scans at 150 pages per minute simplex and 300 images per minute duplex (A4 landscape, 200/300 dpi), holds 750 sheets in the ADF and is rated by Ricoh for an expected daily volume of 130,000 sheets.
Accurate Feeding, Protected Originals
Automatic Skew Correction straightens each document before it is fed, and Stapled Documents Detection spots stapled sets wherever the staple sits and stops feeding immediately to protect the originals. Ultrasonic overlap detection and length detection catch multifeeds.
Thick Media, Envelopes and Folded Documents
The Dual Path Mechanism switches the ejection path: Straight Scan takes documents up to 1.25 mm thick, such as cardboard envelopes, while U-turn Scan handles continuous scanning of standard documents. Manual Feed Mode scans bi-folded and multi-layered documents as they are, and improved paper output control keeps stacks neat even at full speed.
4.3-inch Touchscreen, USB 3.2 and Gigabit Ethernet
A 4.3-inch touchscreen makes operation straightforward, and the scanner connects by USB 3.2 Gen1 or the built-in 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet port. The PaperStream IP driver produces clean images for accurate OCR, and PaperStream Capture extracts barcode and zonal OCR data to feed your workflow.
