The EV-115 is the black finish of Epson's LightScene accent lighting projector. Its spotlight-style cylindrical body is designed to read as a light fitting rather than as AV equipment, and the black chassis is the one to specify where the ceiling, track or truss is already dark. In a boutique with blackened services, a gallery with matte black track, a hotel bar or a themed attraction, a white projector announces itself; this one recedes. Functionally it is identical to the white EV-110, so the choice between them is purely about how the fitting sits in the space.
2,200 Lumens of Matching White and Colour Brightness for Retail Accent Projection
Epson rates the EV-115 at 2,200 lumens white light output and 2,200 lumens colour light output, with a contrast ratio quoted at over 5,000,000:1. Equal white and colour brightness matters more here than in a meeting room, because accent projection is almost entirely colour content: product imagery, brand graphics, textures and gobo-style patterns. A projector that measured high on white and low on colour would wash those out. Mounting and placement
The EV-115 comes as a cylindrical projection unit measuring Φ175 x D260mm with a separate power supply unit of 361 x 110 x 65mm, and Epson quotes approximately 6.9kg for the main unit together with the direct mount unit. Epson lists a black floor stand (ELPMB55B) and a black lighting track mount (ELPMB66B) for this model, with white equivalents (ELPMB55W, ELPMB66W) also available. The lighting track option is what lets the projector share a standard track with the luminaires around it, which is how most retail and gallery installations handle both power and position.

Powered zoom and powered focus mean the image can be set from the remote once the fitting is in place, which matters when the unit is on a high track.
