True Online Double-Conversion Protection
The Eaton 9E is an online double-conversion UPS rated 3000 VA / 2400 W. It rebuilds a clean, regulated sine wave output continuously, so connected equipment is isolated from sags, surges, frequency drift and noise on the incoming supply, with zero transfer time to battery. This XL version ships without internal batteries and is designed to run from Eaton 9E external battery modules, so runtime is sized to the job.
Plug-In Connection and Quiet Operation
Eaton lists a C20 input with six IEC C13 and one C19 outputs, an input window of 176–300 V (100–300 V with derating), 91% efficiency at maximum load and a noise level below 37 dB at 1 m — quiet enough for an office or comms cupboard.
Monitoring and Shutdown
An LCD display, USB (HID) and RS232 ports plus one slot for an optional network card integrate with Eaton Intelligent Power Manager and Intelligent Power Protector for orderly shutdown. An internal bypass keeps the load powered if the UPS itself needs attention.
Supplied Locally with GST Invoice

Operating Systems and Software
The USB port is HID compliant, so Windows, macOS and Linux recognise the UPS natively. Eaton Intelligent Power Protector handles single-server shutdown; Eaton Intelligent Power Manager and an optional network card cover multiple servers and virtualised hosts.

What does online double-conversion mean?
The load always runs from the UPS inverter, so there is no transfer time to battery and the output is regulated at all times. It is the right choice for servers, storage and sensitive equipment.
Does it work without an external battery module?
The XL model ships with no internal battery (Eaton lists battery quantity 0), so it needs Eaton 9E external battery modules to provide backup runtime.
How long will it run?
It depends on the load and how many EBMs are connected. See Eaton's runtime tool (Eaton runtime graph) or send us your load in watts.
Can I plug it into a normal wall socket?
Eaton lists an IEC C20 input and does not list an input cord in the box, so ask us about a suitable input cord and supply outlet.
What warranty do I get?
3 years on the UPS per Eaton's Singapore price list, supplied by SourceIT with local support and a GST invoice.
