True Online Double-Conversion Protection
The Eaton 9E 9E3000i is a 3000 VA / 2400 W online double-conversion tower UPS. It rebuilds a clean, regulated 230 V sine wave output continuously, so connected equipment is isolated from sags, surges, frequency drift and noise on the incoming supply, with zero transfer time to battery. It suits a small server room: several servers, storage and core network equipment.
Wide Input Window and High Input Power Factor
Eaton specifies an input voltage range of 176–300 V (100–300 V with derating) and an input power factor above 0.99, which keeps the load on the building supply or generator clean and lets the 9E ride through poor mains without going to battery.
Monitoring, Shutdown and Expandable Runtime
An LCD display shows status and measurements. USB (HID compliant) and RS232 ports plus one slot for an optional network card integrate with Eaton Intelligent Power Manager and Intelligent Power Protector for orderly shutdown. The internal bypass keeps the load powered if the UPS itself needs attention, and runtime can be extended with Eaton 9E external battery modules.

The USB port is HID compliant, so Windows, macOS and Linux recognise the UPS natively. Eaton Intelligent Power Protector handles single-server shutdown; Eaton Intelligent Power Manager and an optional network card cover multiple servers and virtualised hosts.
