True Online Double-Conversion Protection
The Eaton 9E is an online double-conversion UPS rated 15000 VA / 12000 W. It rebuilds a clean, regulated sine wave output continuously, so connected equipment is isolated from sags, surges, frequency drift and noise on the incoming supply, with zero transfer time to battery. It suits a server room or a small data centre where a three-phase supply feeds single-phase IT loads.
Three-Phase Input, Single-Phase Output
Eaton lists a three-phase input (400 V / 230 V nominal) and a single-phase 230 V output, with 93% efficiency at maximum load and an input power factor above 0.99 — a neat way to draw balanced power from a three-phase board while feeding single-phase racks.
Internal Batteries, Monitoring and Expandable Runtime
Forty 12 V / 7 Ah sealed lead-acid batteries are built in. An LCD display, USB (HID) and RS232 ports, a remote power-off terminal and one slot for an optional network card integrate with Eaton Intelligent Power Manager and Intelligent Power Protector. An internal bypass is included (the price list notes a built-in manual bypass), and runtime can be extended with Eaton 9E external battery modules.
