True Online Double-Conversion Protection
The Eaton 9E is an online double-conversion UPS rated 10000 VA / 8000 W. It rebuilds a clean, regulated sine wave output continuously, so connected equipment is isolated from sags, surges, frequency drift and noise on the incoming supply, with zero transfer time to battery. It suits a server room, a comms room or several racks of IT equipment.
High Efficiency and Clean Input
Eaton specifies 92% efficiency at maximum load and an input power factor above 0.99, with an input window of 176–276 V (110–276 V with derating), so the 9E rides through poor mains without going to battery and keeps the load on the building supply or generator clean.
Internal Batteries, Monitoring and Expandable Runtime
Twenty 12 V / 9 Ah sealed lead-acid batteries are built in. An LCD display, USB (HID) and RS232 ports, a remote power-off terminal and one slot for an optional network card integrate with Eaton Intelligent Power Manager and Intelligent Power Protector. The internal bypass keeps the load powered if the UPS needs attention, and runtime can be extended with Eaton 9E external battery modules.
