Gigabit Copper to Fibre in a Compact Box
The D-Link DMC-G01LC converts a 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet connection to fibre through an SFP slot, so you can extend a link beyond copper distances. It measures just 75 x 60 x 23 mm and works standalone — no chassis required.
Choose Your Fibre Distance
Distance and fibre type depend on the SFP module you install. D-Link lists its DEM-310GT (1000BASE-LX single-mode, 10 km), DEM-311GT (1000BASE-SX multi-mode, 550 m), DEM-312GT2 (1000BASE-SX multi-mode, 2 km) and DEM-211 (100BASE-FX multi-mode, 2 km) as optional transceivers.
Low-Latency Cut-Through Forwarding
Traffic is forwarded in cut-through mode with a 2 Gbps switching capacity and 1,488,000 pps maximum forwarding rate. The copper port supports auto-negotiation, Auto MDI/MDIX and jumbo frames up to 9,216 bytes at 1000 Mbps.

No. The fibre side is an empty SFP slot; choose a D-Link SFP transceiver to suit your fibre type and distance.
Does it support 100 Mbps fibre?
D-Link lists the DEM-211 100BASE-FX module among its optional transceivers, alongside the 1000BASE-SX/LX modules.
Does it need a chassis?
No. It is a standalone converter powered by its own 5 V / 1 A adapter.
How far can the fibre link go?
It depends on the SFP module — for example 550 m (DEM-311GT), 2 km (DEM-312GT2) or 10 km (DEM-310GT).
What warranty do I get?
