Pan-tilt-zoom camera for larger rooms
The Cisco PTZ 4K Camera (CS-CAM-PTZ4K=) is a pan-tilt-zoom camera for video conferencing. Cisco describes it as a premium imaging solution for larger conference rooms and for spaces that need specialised camera placement, close-up views or wide-area coverage. The = suffix denotes the spare/standalone part number.
4K video with 240x total zoom
The camera outputs up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 fps or 1920 × 1080 at 60 fps over HDMI 2.0. It combines 20x optical zoom with 12x digital zoom for 240x total zoom, with a 70° horizontal field of view and an f/2.0 – 3.8 lens.
Wide pan and tilt range
The camera pans ±170° and tilts from -20° to +90°, at speeds from 1.1°/s up to 300°/s (pan) and 126°/s (tilt). Preset positions can be stored for instant recall of specific views, such as a lectern or a whiteboard.
PresenterTrack
With a compatible Cisco codec, PresenterTrack uses AI-based face and upper-body detection to keep a moving presenter in frame without a camera operator.
Flexible mounting and power
The camera mounts on a wall or ceiling using the optional Cisco brackets, connects to the codec over HDMI and is controlled over its Ethernet port. It can be powered by a 12 V / 3 A adapter or by PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at). Device inventory and firmware upgrades are handled through the connected Cisco device and Control Hub.

Compatible Cisco devices
Cisco’s PTZ 4K Camera data sheet lists the Codec Pro, Codec Plus, Room Kit Plus and Room Kit Pro as compatible systems, with camera control from the Cisco Room Navigator. Cisco’s Room Bar Pro data sheet also lists the PTZ 4K Camera as an optional camera for presenter tracking, connected over Ethernet and HDMI in.

What is not included
Cisco lists the 12 V power supply (PSU-12VDC-40W2=), the wall bracket (CS-PTZ4K-BRKT=) and the ceiling mount (CS-PTZ4K-CLNGMNT) as separate part numbers. The camera can alternatively be powered by PoE+ from a suitable switch or injector. HDMI and Ethernet cables are required to connect it to the codec.
