The APC APC Smart-UPS SRT 48V 1kVA 1.5kVA RM Battery Pack (SRT48RMBP) is an external battery pack for the APC Smart-UPS On-Line SRT range. It connects to the UPS 48V DC battery bus and extends how long the protected load stays up during a mains failure — the difference between a graceful shutdown and a rack full of servers dropping mid-write.
