What you can plug in
The SMC1500I-2UC provides four IEC 60320 C13 outlets plus two IEC jumper outlets, all on battery backup. Every outlet is on battery backup, so there is no surge-only group to watch out for — but that also means everything you connect draws on the battery, so keep printers, kettles and other non-critical loads off the UPS. Size the connected load against the wattage rating (900 W), not the VA rating.
