APC Line-R 600VA Automatic Voltage Regulator 230V 4x IEC C13 Outlets
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
APC Line-R 600VA Automatic Voltage Regulator (LE600I) - 2 Years Local Warranty
APC LE600I — 600 VA of automatic voltage regulation with no battery to maintain
The APC LE600I is the Line-R 600 VA automatic voltage regulator from APC by Schneider Electric: a compact transformer-based unit that takes an unstable 220, 230 or 240 V supply and delivers a regulated 220 to 240 V output to four IEC C13 outlets, with 300 J of surge protection. It is not a UPS — there is no battery and it will not carry a load through a blackout — and that is the point. For equipment that suffers from brownouts, over-voltage and spikes rather than outages, an AVR does the job with nothing to replace in three years.
Schneider's Line-R uses a tap-switching transformer to boost low voltage and trim high voltage automatically, with LED indicators to show which correction is active and an audible alarm for a fault. The resettable circuit breaker on the input protects against overload without a fuse to replace.
Where an AVR beats a UPS in Singapore
Singapore's PUB mains rarely fails outright, but voltage does wander: it sags during an afternoon storm, it rises overnight when the load drops, and in older buildings and industrial estates it moves every time a compressor or lift motor starts. A desktop PC, a POS terminal, a fridge controller, a router, a CCTV recorder or an audio system that resets or misbehaves on those events does not need a battery — it needs a stable 230 V. The LE600I supplies that continuously, without the cost, weight and maintenance of a UPS, and can sit in a warm, dusty spot where a lead-acid battery would not last.
If the same equipment also needs to ride through outages, the answer is a line-interactive UPS with AVR built in — the Back-UPS BX and Easy UPS BV ranges on this site do both jobs. The LE600I is for the site that has decided outages are not the problem.
600 VA, four C13 outlets, IEC C14 inlet
The unit is rated 600 VA, which covers a PC and monitor, a router and switch, a POS terminal and printer, or a small audio-visual setup. The four outlets are IEC 60320 C13, so equipment connects with the same C13 kettle leads used on a UPS; the input is an IEC 60320 C14 inlet, which in Singapore means a BS 1363 to C13 lead from the wall socket — the standard lead supplied with a PC. Because the outlets are C13 rather than universal sockets, plan a C13 lead for each device rather than expecting to plug a three-pin BS 1363 plug straight in.
At 116 mm high, 214 mm wide and 141 mm deep and 3.1 kg it sits on a shelf, under a counter or on the floor beside the equipment. Schneider prints a 2-year repair-or-replace warranty; everything SourceIT ships is local Singapore stock with a GST invoice and local warranty support.

Compatibility & Fit
What you can plug in
Up to 600 VA across four IEC C13 outlets. Typical loads: a desktop PC and monitor (150 to 300 VA), a router and switch (under 50 VA), a POS terminal and receipt printer, a CCTV NVR, a small amplifier. Each device connects with a C13 lead; if the device has a fixed BS 1363 plug, it needs a C14-to-BS 1363 socket adaptor lead, which we can supply. Do not connect laser printers or motors — they draw far more than 600 VA on start-up.
What it does and does not do
It corrects voltage continuously and absorbs surges up to 300 J. It does not provide any backup during an outage: when the mains fails, the output fails with it. For equipment that must also ride through outages, choose a line-interactive UPS that has AVR built in — the Back-UPS BX750MI-MS, Easy UPS BV650I-MS or Easy UPS BV1000I-MS all do, with universal sockets that take a BS 1363 plug directly.
Sizing and placement
Keep the connected load under 600 VA with margin for start-up. The unit runs warm under load because it is a transformer; give it ventilation and keep it out of a closed drawer. At 3.1 kg it stays put on a shelf. It has no rack ears; in a cabinet it goes on a shelf such as the AR8122BLK.
When to step up
If the problem is outages as well as voltage, the Back-UPS BX2200MI-MS (2200 VA, AVR, universal sockets) is the natural next step in the same family, and the Back-UPS Pro Gaming BGM2200-MSX adds sine wave output for active-PFC power supplies.

Frequently Asked Questions — APC LE600I
Is the LE600I a UPS?
No. It is an automatic voltage regulator: it corrects high and low mains voltage and absorbs surges, but it has no battery and provides no backup when the power fails. If you need backup as well, look at the Back-UPS BX or Easy UPS BV ranges, which include AVR.
What voltage problems does it fix?
Sags and brownouts (low voltage), swells (high voltage) and spikes. It boosts or trims the mains automatically through a transformer so the equipment sees a steady 220 to 240 V.
How many devices can I connect?
Four, through IEC C13 outlets, up to a combined 600 VA. A PC and monitor, a router and switch, and a POS terminal comfortably fit.
Will my Singapore three-pin plug fit?
Not directly — the outlets are IEC C13, the same as a UPS, so each device connects with a C13 kettle lead. The unit itself plugs into the wall through its C14 inlet with a standard BS 1363 to C13 lead.
Does it need maintenance?
No. There is no battery, no fan and no consumable. The circuit breaker resets by hand if it trips on overload.
Does it protect against lightning surges?
It has a 300 J surge rating, which handles the switching transients and small surges that reach a socket. It is not a substitute for a building surge arrester on a direct strike.
Can I use it in a rack?
It has no rack mounting; put it on a fixed shelf such as the AR8122BLK inside the cabinet.
Does it come with a Singapore warranty and a GST invoice?
Yes. Every APC LE600I sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty support and a GST invoice; APC by Schneider Electric prints a 2-year repair-or-replace warranty for this model.
