The APC Easy UPS On-Line SRV120RLBP2-9A is the external battery pack for the SRV15KRILRK and SRV20KRILRK rack kits and the SRV15KRIL / SRV20KRIL / SRV15KUXI-IN / SRV20KUXI-IN power modules they are built on. Those UPS units carry no internal batteries at all, so every minute of hold-up time comes from packs like this one. Two are supplied in each 9U kit; this listing is the pack on its own, for adding runtime to an installed system or for replacing a pack that has reached the end of its service life.
The pack runs on Schneider's ±120 V DC bus — twenty sealed lead-acid blocks in a single string — and is matched to the 2340 W charger in the 15 and 20 kVA power modules. Schneider states those models accept up to 10 packs, so a site that starts with the two supplied packs can add runtime in 3U steps as the load or the required hold-up time grows, without changing the UPS.
Sizing Runtime in Singapore
Singapore's grid is reliable, but the outages that do occur — a substation fault, a building switchboard trip, a generator changeover that fails to synchronise — tend to last minutes rather than seconds, and a 15 or 20 kW load empties a small battery bank quickly. The usual planning question is how long the servers need to run through a graceful network shutdown, or how long until the standby generator is confirmed on load. Send us the load in watts and the hold-up time you want and we will calculate the pack count with the distributor against Schneider's runtime data.
Rack Fit: 3U, 686 mm Deep, 64 kg — and the Right Rail Kit
The pack occupies 3U and measures 133 x 438 x 686 mm, so it needs a server-depth cabinet of 800 mm or more with clearance behind for the battery cable. At 64 kg it is a two-person lift and belongs at the bottom of the rack; check the cabinet's static load rating before stacking several. Schneider lists the mounting as “rack-mounted with kit” and includes the rack mounting brackets and the battery cable in the carton.
For sliding support rails, the kit to specify is the 900 mm SRVRK2, which is rated for 100 kg — it is the kit pictured on Schneider's page for the 15 and 20 kVA systems. The shorter SRVRK1 is rated for 60 kg and is not the right choice for a 64 kg pack.

Which UPS Takes This Pack
Schneider names this pack for the 15 and 20 kVA rack extended-runtime models. In practice that means the complete kits SRV15KRILRK and SRV20KRILRK, which ship with two of these packs, and the bare power modules (SRV15KRIL, SRV20KRIL, SRV15KUXI-IN, SRV20KUXI-IN) that some regions sell separately. The pack connects through the supplied battery cable, and additional packs are chained the same way.
Match the bus voltage. The Easy UPS On-Line SRV range uses a different battery voltage at each power level: 36 V for the 1 kVA and 72 V for the 2–3 kVA extended-runtime models, 192 V modules in the SRV6KRIRK / SRV10KRIRK, 240 V packs for the 6–10 kVA extended-runtime models, and ±120 V here. A pack from another level will not connect and must not be forced. If you are unsure which UPS you have, send us the part number from the label.
How Many Packs
The 15 and 20 kVA models accept up to 10 packs. Schneider's runtime figures are not printed on the product page, so we do not publish a table; tell us the load in watts and the hold-up time you need and we will size the bank. Remember that the charger recharges a bigger bank more slowly, so a site with frequent short outages should not over-specify packs without also planning for recovery time between them.
Rack Fit
Each pack adds 3U, 686 mm of depth and 64 kg. A 600 mm comms cabinet will not take it; use an 800 mm or deeper server rack, mount the packs low, and check the static load rating when stacking several. For sliding rails use the SRVRK2 900 mm kit (100 kg rating); the SRVRK1 is limited to 60 kg.
