Yealink UVC40 E2 vs Logitech MeetUp 2: Which 4K Video Bar Offers Better Value?

On value, the Yealink UVC40 E2 wins: at S$645.00 it costs about half the Logitech MeetUp 2 at S$1,299.38 (SourceIT, listed 25 Oct 2026), with a matching 4K, 120° camera and more microphones. The MeetUp 2 earns its extra S$654.38 with things the Yealink does not have: HDMI in and out, Bluetooth, single-cable BYOD over USB-C, richer AI framing modes and certification for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows, Zoom Rooms and Google Meet. If your rooms run Teams or Zoom from a PC and do not need certification, the UVC40 E2 is the better buy. If certification or HDMI matters, the MeetUp 2 is worth the premium.

Figures from Yealink's UVC40 E2 product page and July 2026 datasheet, and Logitech's MeetUp 2 datasheet (April 2024) and certification matrix. Neither vendor publishes a maximum headcount; both describe the devices as small and huddle room bars.

Picture quality and framing

Both bars capture 4K and both quote 120°, so in a small room they see roughly the same space. Logitech states that its 120° is diagonal; Yealink does not say. The differences are in the software. Logitech's RightSight 2 offers three framing styles: Group View for the whole table, Speaker View that follows the talker, and Grid View, which shows each person in their own tile. Yealink offers Auto Framing and Speaker Tracking, plus Smart Area Exposure for faces against bright windows. If your users like the tiled Grid View look, the MeetUp 2 has it; if your rooms are backlit by glass walls, the Yealink's exposure feature is relevant.

Audio: eight microphones vs six

The UVC40 E2 has eight MEMS microphones with a rated 6 m pickup; the MeetUp 2 has six with a rated 7 m. On paper the ranges are close and both comfortably cover a small room. The MeetUp 2's 8 W speaker is larger than the Yealink's 5 W, which helps in a slightly bigger room. The Yealink can be extended with the VCM36-W wireless or VCM35 wired microphones.

Same camera angle, similar audio. The real choice is whether you are paying for certification and HDMI.

Connectivity and certification: where the price gap goes

The MeetUp 2 adds HDMI in and out, so it can sit between a laptop and the display, and single-cable BYOD with a USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode cable. It also carries certification for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows, Zoom Rooms on Windows and Mac, and Google Meet hardware, which matters if your IT policy only allows certified room peripherals. The UVC40 E2 keeps things simpler: USB to the room PC, with Yealink's optional BYOD Box (S$195.00) for single-cable guest laptops. Yealink says it works with Teams and Zoom but does not claim certification.

One point that is easy to get wrong: Logitech's comparison table lists appliance mode for the MeetUp 2 as "No". It needs a PC or a BYOD laptop; it does not run Teams Rooms on Android or Zoom Rooms Appliance by itself. For an appliance, Logitech points to the Rally Bar Huddle.

What does the gap mean across several rooms?

A labelled example for five small rooms, bar only, at SourceIT's listed prices on 25 Oct 2026:

  • 5 x Yealink UVC40 E2 at S$645.00 = S$3,225.00
  • 5 x Logitech MeetUp 2 at S$1,299.38 = S$6,496.90

Adding a BYOD Box to each Yealink room brings it to S$4,200.00, still S$2,296.90 below the MeetUp 2 rooms. Volume pricing changes all of these figures.

Which 4K video bar offers better value?

  • Choose the Yealink UVC40 E2 for PC-based small rooms on Teams or Zoom where certification is not required, especially across several rooms.
  • Choose the Logitech MeetUp 2 if you need certified Teams Rooms on Windows, Zoom Rooms or Google Meet hardware, HDMI pass-through, Bluetooth, Grid View, or you already manage Logitech with Sync.
