TP-Link Solar-Powered Pan/Tilt 4G LTE Security Camera Kit (Tapo C615G KIT) - 2 Years Local Warranty
The Tapo C615G KIT combines the Tapo C615G 2K 3MP pan/tilt camera with a Tapo A201 solar panel. It connects over 4G LTE using a nano SIM — TP-Link lists 4G as its only network connection — so it suits locations with no Wi-Fi and no power point. Person, pet and vehicle detection are free, and both camera and panel are IP65 rated.
4G LTE Plug and Play
TP-Link describes it as plug and play with a SIM card, for places where constant Wi-Fi is not available. The camera has a nano SIM slot and a detachable antenna, and TP-Link publishes the bands as LTE-FDD: B1/3/5/7/8/20/28, LTE-TDD: B38/40/41. The SIM card is not included; check that the chosen data plan covers these bands.
Solar Charging with a Built-in Battery
The included Tapo A201 panel charges at up to 5.2 V and 2.5 W through a Type-C connection. TP-Link rates 45 minutes of sunlight as enough for a day under standard test conditions (1000 W/m2, 25°C, AM1.5, up to 100 events a day), and quotes 120 days of battery life based on lab tests with 250 seconds of use per day, including recording and live view.
2K Video, Colour Night Vision and 360° Tracking
A 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and F1.6, 4 mm lens record 2K 3MP (2304 x 1296) with 3D DNR and WDR. Two built-in spotlights give colour night vision, with an 850 nm IR LED for infrared mode. The pan/tilt head covers 360° horizontally (340° mechanical) and 134° vertically (90° mechanical) and tracks people, pets and vehicles; automatic 360° scans are limited per day.
24/7 Capture and Storage
TP-Link's 24/7 Capture takes images at customisable intervals (every 1 s, 5 s, 10 s or up to 60 s) when nothing is detected, then switches to standard recording when an object is detected, to conserve battery. Footage is stored on a microSD card up to 512 GB (not included) or in Tapo Care cloud storage by subscription.
Ideal For

TP-Link lists "Connect via 4G" as the network connection. It needs a nano SIM with a data plan; the SIM is not included.
