The Archer MX700 is a 4G+ Cat6 SIM router — 300 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload — with AX1500 dual-band Wi-Fi at 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, four Gigabit Ethernet ports (one LAN/WAN), two external antenna ports and EasyMesh compatibility. TP-Link positions it for high-density small businesses with up to 128 devices supported.
4G+ Cat6 on a Nano SIM
The built-in 4G+ Cat6 modem reaches 300 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload across FDD-LTE B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28 and TDD-LTE B38/B40/B41, with 3G fallback on B1/B5/B8. Insert an activated SIM and it connects without a landline, which suits relocations and temporary premises.
Wi-Fi 6 on 5 GHz, Wi-Fi 4 on 2.4 GHz
5 GHz runs 802.11ax at 1201 Mbps; 2.4 GHz runs 802.11b/g/n at 300 Mbps. Two internal Wi-Fi antennas and two internal 4G/3G antennas are built in, with two external antenna ports for optional antennas at weak-signal sites. Security includes WPA/WPA3 Personal and WPA/WPA2 Enterprise.
Four Gigabit Ports for a Small Office
One Gigabit LAN/WAN port plus three Gigabit LAN ports connect a printer, NVR or desktop directly. The LAN/WAN port also lets the MX700 run on a fixed line with 4G as a backup connection. TP-Link rates it for up to 128 devices.
EasyMesh and Tether App
EasyMesh compatibility lets the MX700 form a mesh with other EasyMesh devices for one Wi-Fi name across a larger space. Setup and management are via the Tether app or web interface, with TP-Link Cloud, remote management, bandwidth control and a guest network on each band.
