PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link 600Mbps LTE-Advanced Mobile Wi-Fi (M7650) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The M7650 is a Cat11 LTE-Advanced Mobile Wi-Fi rated for up to 600 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload, and it shares that one mobile connection with up to 32 wireless devices over selectable dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi. A 1.44-inch colour screen, a 3000 mAh battery and a microSD slot complete it. Supplied by SourceIT with three years local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
Cat11 LTE-Advanced: 600 Mbps Is the Mobile Data Speed
TP-Link rates the M7650 as LTE-Advanced cat11, with up to 600 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload. Read that 600 Mbps as the cellular download ceiling, not a Wi-Fi number: the Wi-Fi radio is rated separately at 867 Mbps on 5 GHz or 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Bands are FDD-LTE B1/B3/B7/B8/B20 (2100/1800/2600/900/800MHz), TDD-LTE B38/B40/B41 (2600/2300/2500MHz), DC-HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS B1/B8 (2100/900MHz) and EDGE/GPRS/GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz. Cat11 aggregation means the real ceiling depends on how much spectrum your carrier combines where you are standing.
Selectable Dual-Band 802.11ac Wi-Fi
Wireless is IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, which TP-Link describes as selectable dual band Wi-Fi: 867 Mbps at 5 GHz or 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz, chosen rather than run at the same time. The 5 GHz band is the one worth selecting in a crowded office or hotel where 2.4 GHz is saturated. Security is WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK with wireless MAC filtering, and the unit runs its own DHCP server and DHCP client list. Transmission power is rated 2.4G <20dbm, 5G <23dbm.
Up to 32 Devices on One Mobile Connection
TP-Link states the M7650 can easily share a 4G/3G connection with up to 32 wireless devices such as tablets, laptops and mobile phones. That headroom is the practical difference between a hotspot for one laptop and one a site team, a production crew or a meeting room can all sit behind. Connected devices show up in the DHCP client list, and the tpMiFi app for iOS and Android handles day-to-day management from a phone rather than a browser on a tethered machine.
3000 mAh Battery, Up to 15 Hours of Working
The M7650 is equipped with a 3000 mAh rechargeable battery, and a 3000 mAh battery is listed among the box contents alongside the micro USB cable. TP-Link publishes working time of up to 15 hours at full capacity and standby of over 900 hours, with the footnote "Battery life may vary in accordance with environmental conditions." Charging is over the single micro USB port, which is the only port on the unit. Note that the battery carries a six-month replacement warranty rather than the three years covering the device.
Screen, Micro SIM Slot and microSD
A 1.44-inch TFT display with a menu button puts signal strength, network type, data use, client count and battery state in front of you without opening an app. The SIM slot is a Micro SIM card slot, and a Nano to Micro SIM Card Adapter is supplied in the box, so a nano SIM fits with the adapter. A Micro SD card reader takes cards up to 32GB for sharing media across the hotspot's own network.
Ideal For
Singapore buyers running a mobile connection that several people depend on: project and site teams, production and media crews, roadshows and exhibitions, field offices before a fixed line is installed, and businesses keeping a fast standby link against broadband outages. Also a sensible single-device travel hotspot for anyone who wants the 5 GHz radio and a full day of battery. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.

Frequently Asked Questions — M7650
Is the 600 Mbps the Wi-Fi speed or the mobile data speed?
The mobile data speed. TP-Link rates the M7650 as LTE-Advanced cat11 with up to 600 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload over the cellular network. The Wi-Fi side is a separate figure: 867 Mbps at 5 GHz or 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz. The two are not the same number and should not be read as one.
What SIM size does it take, and is an adapter included?
It takes a Micro SIM. A Nano to Micro SIM Card Adapter is supplied in the box, so a nano SIM works once fitted into the adapter. Ask your carrier for a Micro or Nano SIM before you travel.
How many devices can connect at once?
TP-Link publishes up to 32 wireless devices, such as tablets, laptops and mobile phones, sharing the one 4G/3G connection.
How long does the battery last?
TP-Link publishes up to 15 hours of working at full capacity from the 3000 mAh battery, and standby of over 900 hours. TP-Link adds: "Battery life may vary in accordance with environmental conditions."
Can I put a memory card in it?
Yes — there is a Micro SD card slot supporting cards up to 32GB, and files on the card can be accessed and shared through the tpMiFi app for iOS and Android. The card is sold separately.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
3 Years Local Warranty (Singapore); internal battery 6 months. TP-Link limits all internal batteries and battery packs to a six-month replacement warranty, while the device itself carries the standard three years. Every M7650 sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this in volume?
Yes. Send us the quantity and we will quote, and confirm current lead time before you commit to a project date.
