TP-Link Outdoor Pan/Tilt 4G LTE Camera (Tapo C501GW) - 2 Years Local Warranty
The Tapo C501GW is a 1080p outdoor pan/tilt camera that connects over 4G LTE through a Nano-SIM, or over an Ethernet cable, rather than Wi-Fi. It pans 360° and tilts across 139°, can be powered by its DC adapter or by PoE (802.3af/at), and is rated IP66.
4G LTE Where There Is No Wi-Fi
A Nano-SIM slot and detachable external antenna let the C501GW stream and send alerts over the mobile network, for sites without dependable Wi-Fi. TP-Link lists LTE-FDD bands B1/3/5/7/8/20/28 and LTE-TDD bands B38/40/41. A data SIM and plan are needed and are not included.
360° Pan and 139° Tilt Coverage
The motorised head has a 340° mechanical pan (360° coverage) and an 85° mechanical tilt (139° coverage), with a 3.16 mm F1.6 lens and a 99.7° horizontal field of view. Video is 1920 x 1080 at 15, 20, 25 or 30 fps in H.264.
DC or PoE Power, Ethernet or LTE Data
Power comes from the included 12 V, 1 A DC adapter or from an 802.3af/at PoE switch or injector on the Ethernet port. The same port gives a wired data path; TP-Link lists RTSP as supported and ONVIF as available only in Ethernet mode.
Wide AI Detection Set
Beyond motion, person, pet and vehicle detection, TP-Link lists tamper, line-crossing, meow, bark and glass-breaking detection, with activity zones. Night vision uses an 850 nm IR LED rated to 29.9 m plus colour night vision, and a 99 dB sound-and-light alarm and two-way audio are built in.
