TP-Link Festa F65 AX3000 Ceiling Mount WiFi 6 Access Point
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AX3000 Ceiling Mount WiFi 6 Access Point (Festa F65) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Festa F65 is TP-Link's AX3000 ceiling-mount access point for small businesses that want managed Wi-Fi without a controller appliance or a licence. It pairs a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 radio set with 802.3at PoE and free Festa cloud management, so a cafe, clinic or small office can run several APs from one dashboard and add more as the site grows.
AX3000 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
The F65 is an AX3000-class access point: 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, on IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax. The 5 GHz radio carries HE160, so a Wi-Fi 6 client that supports 160 MHz channels gets double the channel width of a standard 80 MHz access point. TP-Link notes that 160 MHz operation is available on 5 GHz only and may be restricted in some markets, and that OFDMA, HE160 and 1024-QAM all require the client to support the matching feature.
Rated for 250+ Concurrent Clients Over 140 m2
TP-Link rates the F65 at 250+ concurrent clients and publishes a coverage figure of 140 m2 (1500 ft2). Both figures carry published caveats worth reading before you plan a site: actual capacity depends on the wireless environment and client traffic and is generally lower than the maximum association count, and the coverage value is calculated from laboratory testing rather than a field survey. Treat them as a planning starting point and let us help you size the AP count against your floor plan.
One Cable for Data and Power, or a DC Adapter If You Prefer
Power comes from 802.3at PoE, 48 V passive PoE, or a 12 V/1.2 A DC supply, and TP-Link includes a power adapter in the box. Maximum draw is 13.3 W over PoE and 11.8 W on DC for the EU model. There is a single Gigabit Ethernet port and a reset button. Ceiling, wall and junction-box mounting are all supported, with the ceiling and wall kits supplied, which keeps installation tidy in a false-ceiling or surface-conduit fit-out.
Festa Cloud and the Festa App, With No Licence Fee
Management is through the Festa platform: centralised management, free cloud access, the Festa App for iOS and Android, and zero-touch provisioning so an AP can be claimed and configured before it reaches site. SNMP v1/v2c/v3, local and remote syslog, SSH, NTP and LED on/off control are all supported. TP-Link states that Festa cloud access is free today and that it reserves the right to charge in future, which is worth noting on a multi-year plan.
Guest Portals, WPA3 and Per-Client Rate Limiting
The F65 supports captive portal authentication, WPA-, WPA2- and WPA3-Personal and Enterprise, 802.1X, VLANs, wireless client isolation and a MAC filter of up to 4,000 entries. Sixteen SSIDs are available, eight per band, with per-SSID or per-client rate limiting and a guest network mode. Seamless roaming, mesh, beamforming, MU-MIMO, OFDMA, band steering, load balancing and airtime fairness round out the wireless feature set.
Ideal For
Singapore cafes, clinics, retail units, serviced offices and small schools that need business-grade Wi-Fi 6 with guest access and central management, but no controller hardware and no per-AP licence. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Compatibility & Software Support
The Festa F65 belongs to TP-Link's Festa line, which is managed by the Festa cloud-based controller and the Festa App. Festa is a separate platform from Omada: a Festa access point cannot be adopted into an Omada Software, Hardware or Cloud Controller, and Omada devices cannot be managed from Festa. Plan the site on one platform or the other.
| Festa Cloud Controller | Supported - centralised management of Festa APs, switches and gateways from one dashboard |
| Festa App | Supported - iOS and Android |
| Cloud Access | Free cloud access. TP-Link states it reserves the right to apply fees in future |
| Zero-Touch Provisioning | Supported |
| Omada SDN Controller | Not supported - Festa devices are not Omada-adoptable |
| Standalone Mode | Supported - the access point can be configured on its own |

Frequently Asked Questions — Festa F65
Can the Festa F65 be managed by an Omada Controller?
No. Festa and Omada are separate TP-Link platforms. The F65 is managed by the Festa cloud controller and the Festa App, or configured standalone through its own web interface. If your site is already built on Omada, ask us for the equivalent Omada EAP instead.
Does the F65 come with a power adapter?
Yes. TP-Link ships a power adapter in the box, and the AP also accepts 802.3at PoE or 48 V passive PoE from a suitable switch or injector, so you can run it on a single cable where you have PoE available.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty. Every Festa F65 sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this for a project or tender?
Yes. Send us the floor plan or bill of materials and we will size the access point count and quote the whole Festa build - gateway, switching and access points - with local warranty and support.
