The Festa FS328GP is the 24-port PoE+ rack switch in TP-Link's cloud-managed Festa range: 24 Gigabit PoE+ ports on a 250 W budget, four Gigabit SFP uplink slots, and central management through the Festa Cloud-Based Controller. 24 PoE+ Ports on a 250 W Budget

Every one of the 24 RJ45 ports is 802.3at PoE+ and 802.3af PoE compliant with up to 30 W available per port, drawn from a 250 W total. In practice that powers a full 24 ports of typical IP cameras with room to spare, or roughly eight to ten Wi-Fi 6 access points running at full PoE+ draw. TP-Link states its PoE budget figures come from laboratory testing and are not guaranteed, varying with connected devices and environment — size the budget against your actual device list.

56 Gbps Switching Across 28 Interfaces

The FS328GP is rated at 56 Gbps switching capacity with a 41.66 Mpps packet forwarding rate, non-blocking across all 28 interfaces. An 8 K MAC address table, 4.1 Mbit packet buffer and 9 KB jumbo frame support handle the traffic patterns of a busy office floor, including the sustained bursts that camera recording and workstation backups generate.

Four Gigabit SFP Slots for Uplinks

Four Gigabit SFP slots provide fibre or long-run uplinks to a core switch, or link this cabinet to another part of the site where copper distance limits apply. They run at the same wire rate as the copper ports. TP-Link publishes these as Gigabit SFP slots on this model, so specify Gigabit optics rather than assuming a higher rate.

L2+ Routing and Full Access Control Lists

As an L2+ switch it carries 16 IPv4/IPv6 IP interfaces and 32 static routes, so VLANs can be routed locally instead of returning to a gateway. It adds a DHCP server, DHCP relay and L2 relay, spanning tree, loopback detection, 802.1ab LLDP/LLDP-MED, IGMP snooping, rate limiting, storm control, port isolation, link aggregation and a combined and IPv6 access control list with time-range rules and port or VLAN binding.

Cloud Provisioning and Multi-Site Management

Adopted into the Festa Cloud-Based Controller, the FS328GP provisions itself on power-up and is managed from the Festa App or Festa Web Portal alongside every other Festa device on the account. Auto topology, multi-site management, batch firmware upgrades, batch configuration, integrated troubleshooting and status alerting are all part of the platform, and TP-Link currently provides the cloud access free of charge.

Half-Depth 1U Chassis, Two Fans

At 440 x 220 x 44 mm the FS328GP is a half-depth 1U unit, which matters in shallow wall-mount cabinets where a full 330 mm switch will not fit. It has two fans, a physical security lock point and a 100–240 V AC 50/60 Hz supply, correct for Singapore mains. Operating temperature is 0–50 °C. Power cord, rackmount kit and silicon feet are in the box.
